For the price you pay, you get a fairly large sized room at a good location. If you intend to spend a good part of your day outside the hotel / at other beaches, this is an excellent choice. If you are finicky about cleanliness, it may be a good idea to carry your own bed spread. Also make sure you opt for the Continental Breakfast option which comes with a premium - the complimentary breakfast that comes as standard option is to say the least .

spacious room, nice and helpful stuff, not close to cenang beach, no food court and restaurant nearby. 20 minutes drive from eagle square and kuah town. reasonable hotel price, but it can only provide a limited selection of food which is expensive than the one in town.

Close to airport

Far from center, jelly fish in water

After reading of negative reviews I expected this hotel to be in low quality. But it was much better than expected. It is really close to airport, and far from center. So in once case you save on taxi, in another case you loose. Beach was Ok, but jelly fish biting disturbs the swimming. Rooms much better than expected.

the view was lovely,the resort has its own beach and swimming pool which has a unique style. the suite was clean with simple decoration.

housekeeping where not cooperative the hotel was at a distance from touristic sites the breakfast buffet although was well cooked and tasty, but the choices were limited and were not suitable for everyone since it was local food mainly there was no net in the rooms but instead only two computers in the reception wich was not enough and costy there was no safe in the room no shattaf in the bathroom, which is necessary for muslims

there was no dificulty in reaching the hotel because it was known and the information provided by agoda made it even more easy. this resort was a very beautiful place to stay in,and especailly ideal for those who want to relax and honeymooners. It would have been a perfect place if the disadvantages listed above were avoided, which is so easy to be done. Inspite of this we had a very good time there

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : not all taxi drivers are good and the tourist agency desk in hotels provide expensive programs thus you should arrange with a good taxi driver who is going to be helpful( knows all the places and information about langkawi as well as good shopping places and booking for ferry boats or buses)

Very spacious rooms, right on the beach and away from the bustle of main tourist areas.

Pool wasn't very clean and because of jellyfish, we couldn't swim in the sea.

We really enjoyed our stay - we especially liked the huge rooms which were fairly clean. The staff were helpful and eating dinner outdoors beside the pool under a full moon was a pleasant experience when the mozzies weren't biting! The hawker fare they serve (once a week I believe) wasn't too bad and reasonably priced. The biggest drawback was the pool and the jellyfish in the sea at that time of year (mid-Dec). But you need a car to get to town and to the tourist spots. Best thing to do is to rent one at the airport.

Spacious Room

Bathroom need scrub

If you’re on vacation with your family and have a limited budget, Langkasuka Resort is the ideal place to stay. It has spacious room with 2 queen bed, spacious bathroom with big bathtub. It’s friendly and helpful staff make you feel at home. The only thing, it is far from town, you need to rent a car/vehicle once you reach Langkawi. I don’t really recommend the swimming pool, I saw tons of sand in the pool as it is surrounded by the beach sand. Ignore the pool; go for the sea instead as you have your own blue sea just few meters from the resort. Look out for the food promotion it worth.

Restaurant Tip : there are few local food outlets with reasonable price @ Padang Masirat (1km from the resort; turn left after the airport roundabout)

Hotel is 5 minute drive from the airport. It has a big room that can accommodate 4 adults in a room. Room is equipped with facilities such as iron board and iron, hair dryer, coffee & tea facilities, TV with local channel plus Vision 4. At this rate that you’re paying I could say there’s comfy on the bed and pillow. However the bathroom needs scour.

I stay in one night with my family. Hotel staff is friendly. I went to island use ferry (jetty is at Kuah, about 15-20 KM from the resort). I suggest go to Langkawi by air, if you plan to stay in Langkasuka, its less than 15 min walking distance from Langkawi airport to resort. The resort is located at the middle of west coast, travel from resort to various places in Langkawi is fair distance (assume you rent a car or motorbike). I also appreciated that resort provided extra bed free of charge and its ready when I enter the room. However, this requirement is resort's best effort, no guarantee.

The room is so big for what i pay for. Clean and nice place to stay. A definite plus is the lovely private beach.

The private beach have jellyfish so not so suitable for swimming. The sea water isn't very clear as well. Not many shops or restaurants near by.

Good for big family stay as the room can squeeze in at least 4 people or more. The design is bit old and plain but overall it is nice and clean. Hotel should set up some netting to protect the visitor to swim in the sea away from jellyfish else we got the private beach to sunbath only. Self transportation is rather a must have if you choose to stay here, otherwise you should be prepared to pay extra transportation costs to get to happening spots like Pantai Cenang (about 20 mins away) and even Kuah (40 mins away). However, it is perfect for a relaxing holiday, as the surroundings are quiet and peaceful. This does depend on the neighbors you get too - we were next door to an extremely loud-mouthed group of people, so our sleep was rudely disturbed by them the next morning as they were checking out early.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Near to cable car and sky bridge. During the stay i recommend to get your own transport as you are stay far apart from everywhere else.

best feature of the hotel is the private beach. calm and plesant atmosphere

rooms not upto mark compared to others of same tariff

most striking feature is the private beach, but local infiltration high in evening due to lack of security . there are no life guards, so should not venture too far from shore if you are not a good swimmer. overall package is worth picking as the hotel offers a very attractive tariff

Hotel is a short distance from Langkawi Airport. Had a private beach and a beautiful swimming pool. I had booked for 3 rooms and all are spacious. Parking space is big and I can parked my rented MPV at ease. Spotted security office doing their patrols at the parking vicinity. Location of Resort is at the end of major Road and travelling to tourist attraction is easy.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel offered a discounted ticket price for Underwater World.

Big rooms and clean, good private beach

no restaurant or shopping around the hotel

Its a good hotel to the money you paid. The private beach is quite beautiful but too bad the sea has uninvited visitor (jellyfish). Many people will resort to swimming pool and if hotel management can pay more attention toward the swimming pool cleanliness. The hotel was truly fabulous and the staff was always pleasant and helpful. The suite was equipped with everything imaginable, and it was nice to come back to at the end of each day. but its easy to miss it when you drive along the road. we tried 3 times and ask people there to find it.

The rooms are big and large. It is good for sharing basis with even 4 people. It is old hotel and value for money.

We purchase breakfast our own and it was WRONG CHOICE. It was beach hotel but the beach are not for swimming as many jelly fish. Not adviceable to swim in this beach.

Very nice sunset view.

Difficult to get conceige service. Breakfast was lousy.

Value for money. Very nice sunset view. However, we have to do our own conceige. No one was ta the porch when we bring in our luggage. We stayed for 2 nights, and breakfast on both days were lousy. Location is very convenience, just less than 5 minutes drive to the airport.
