Big room...nice pool...wonderful beach...perfect location. The room looked a bit run down...renovation is required. The bathroom needs to be renovated. The breakfast was below standard as there were no desert except fruits. The location of the resort was perfect...very close to the airport. The pool was nice and the hotel beach was perfect for the evenings. The room was spacious but the outlook was a bit old. The bathrooms need to be refurbished. Otherwise, nice place to stay and the pricing was great. The breakfast was below standard.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't miss the cable car ride...way too cool!

near airport, private beach, fine sand, relax environment quite old.....need renovation, air con is just to take sweat out from you......can't control temp and not that cold The hotel and rooms are quite old...refurbishment is recommended. However, the location is brillian....less than 5 min by taxi to the airport so you don't have to rush to the airport (you really don't have to rush coz no fuss at the airport and it's a tiny one). The hotel has their own long fine sand beach, good view for sunset. The price is affordable. Hawkers are not many choices but chicken rice is so yum! Overall, it's ok but not 4 star as advertise though.

the hotel is so large and also the room too .the view is nice. the close time of the swimming pool is so early. the price is so cheap ,but the sevice and room are so cool.u can see the beautiful view on the own beach.and also the parking area is so large,i love this hotel,if i come back too langkawi ,i will choose this hotel again.
advise: in langkawi ,u'd better rent a car that make your trip so convinence.

can't get in the sea water - too murky and jellyfish warnings It's a nice little hotel and the price is hard to beat. However we booked so we could take advantage of the private beach and never bothered since the water was so murky and there were jellyfish warnings posted. Rooms are big and cheap. Breakfast wasn't bad, especially if you like having an omelet and/or waffle/pancake made to order!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Our son loved the aquarium, as well as the bird park and the cable car (especially the bunnies at the bottom he could play with!)

Clean, Beach, Easy Access. Facilities in bad condition. ie. Fridge, lighting, toilet sink. Langkasuka Langkawi Beach Resort is easy to find, walking distance from the airport. A variety of restaurants are avialable, however, the Thai restaurant does not accept credit cards. Nice grill bar and swimming pool is available. Workers are very friendly. Breakfast is awesome. Very clean toilets. Cab services are also available.

Very near Airport, big room, good value hotel This hotel is rally near the airport. It is very convenience place. The price is very cheap compaering to other hotel - good value hotel. The room is quite big with a king size bed and 1 more small bed, very suitable if you have a kid coming along with you. Only one thing is that there is very bad small when I open the door.
Restaurant Tip : There is a good Korea restaurant near this hotel

Langkasuka Beach Resort as old but very big room. They should renovated them and it would be awesome. The htel is near the airport but, like we knew, a bit far rom town. Just rent a motorbike in town for about 30 RM and the distance won't be a problem any more... The other thing to know is there are not selling any alcool on the permise! And you are not suppose bring food or brevage from outside to the resort. A lot of the service or dinner attration they publicized are not open everyday or open at all!

Ok, so this is not the place to go if you are looking for luxuary. The rooms are more like 'beach house' rooms, rather than hotel rooms. But for us, traveling with 3 young children, that was perfect for us. We had to make sure that the doors were not opened more than getting into or out of the room and as quickly as possible. Otherwise the room was full of mosquitos. The shower flooded the bathroom with every shower. The beach was probably the worst on the island filled with jellie fish. But, other than that, Langkasuka is wonderful. Honestly, I am not an ocean person so the pool was fine for me and the kids. They also had a great time playing in the sand of the beach and chasing sand crabs and watching hermet crabs, but I wouldn't let them in the water. There are a variety of food options / restaurants. They mostly use the same menu, but you have a range of choices for your atmosphere; on the beach, by the pool, in the atrium, inside...the choices were numerous, and the food was very good. There wasn't a meal we tried we didn't like. When I go back to Langkawi (and I will, we loved it) I would stay at Langkasuka again, I would just remember to bring more bug spray.

Private beach: few people, very clean. Swimming pool: man-made waterfall, clean water. Room: big and spacious, bed and pillow still quite comfortable. Bathroom: clean and big, comes with bathtub. Food: cheap food available at the atrium. Entertainment: pool table, jacuzzi pool, counter providing tour services. Location: very near to airport. Room: tv has poor reception, floor a bit dirty but does not provide slippers, no vcd/dvd players, no toothbrush provided for people who forgot theirs. Tour service: staff not so friendly or helpful. Definitely value for money! Location of resort is good, very near to the airport, other places are easily accessible. Rooms are big and spacious, quite well-equipped, floor is a bit dusty, no slippers and toothbrushes are provided. TV reception of certain rooms are poor and may have slight insecticide smell. No vcd/dvd players provide. The private beach and swimming pool are excellent, great for those that dislike crowd. Hotel's tour service staff are not helpful: did not wait for us at all and just left without contacting us. Furthermore, gave us a bit of attitude and left us waiting for very long. But hotel reception staff still quite nice and efficient.
Travel tip : Cheap and delicious food may be found around open areas around the airport. Things are relatively much cheaper in Kuah rather than Pantai Cenang (overly commercialized). Watch out for road blocks (I met road blocks almost everyday), all car passengers please remember to buckle up to prevent extortion. Parking is free everywhere. Beaches in northern area are great! The water is very clean and clear. Night market can be found some distance to the east of the resort (must go).

Spacious room, nice atmosphere, private beach Sand at bottom of the swimming pools, malfunction of safety box, non-provide of slipper in room Langkasuka Beach Resort Langkawi gave me the nice resort feeling of a spacious room, clean, neat & a relaxing environment. The only unsatisfaction I found is the malfunction of the safety box & non-provide of slipper for usage in the room. One more disadvantage is you got the feeling of some sands from the beach on the floor in the room. Overall Langkasuka does provide me a comfort stay & superb vacation.

The hotel is well situated to relax and the rooms ( Premium Deluxe) were big and spacious.
The BF buffet ( wester) was good and had a good choice for Vegetarians too. There aren't any shops or restaurants around the hotel.
Hotel needs to have additional staff to look after the guests requirements.
No free shuttle to town.
No personal touch at the hotel A good hotel to be with friends to relax. The Sunset at the private beach was great very relaxinig and peaceful.
Hotel should organise some events at the hotel in the evening as there aren't anything close by.
Being close to the airport the hotel could provide complimentary airport transfer.
Would recommed to people the hotel again.

Close to the airport. Very affordable prices. Private beach and pool are unattractive. American perspective: If you are new to Malaysia, then please keep your expectations low. Think of this place as a Motel 6: a cheap place to rest your head at night. This is not a 3-star 'American' resort. Sadly, I stayed at a 5-star a few days later (about 4x the price) and it failed to surpass Langkasuka in the room's cleanliness and amenities.

maintenance, facilities, dining Its location is excellent and very close to the airport (within walking distance). The private beach is very nice and good for seeing sunset. But, there are not other facilities. The room is very big and clean. But, the room condition is fair and not well-renovated with carpet, fridge etc. There are a few restaurants, the food is alright but the staff and service is not very professional. Anyhow, it is value for such cheap price! I will consider stay there next time.
Hotel Feature Tip : It is recommend to rent a car at the hotel and tour around the city.

Huge room. With double beds and lots of space to walk around. Big toilets as well. Near airport so it is rather easy to catch a flight just in case you are slept late. Counter staff do not know the correct procedures. Rooms and toilet is huge so there are lots of space to walk around. A standard room can squeeze in 4 persons easily without feeling cramp. The location of the hotel is near to the langkawi skybridge, cable car and also to the airport. So it will be great when you are checking out from the hotel catching a flight back on your last day of stay. The hotel reception counter requires a deposit of Rm50 and the counter staff did not issue out a receipt which we did not know that it is the standard procedure. Until the last day during checking out and the counter staff kept on asking us for the receipt so that they can return us the rm 50 deposit. Only managed to get back the money after some extensive arguing. Hotel should know the correct procedures and issue out receipts upon receiving the deposit and not expecting visitors to know all these.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Near to the cable car/skybridge. You will definately need to rent a car when visiting langkawi. Else there is no way you can get around the island on foot.
