Langkawi Boutique Resort, located only a couple of minutes walking to beach area, is a beautiful resort offering a great base from which to explore Langawi from. The resort is a mere 10 minutes drive from the Langkawi International Airport and 30 minutes from the Kuah jetty. -Dirty washrooms with no room service We went to Langkawi Botique Resort with a lot of expectations how ever they were ruined the moment we saw our room which was quite old with no facilities and was not even ready as the glasses and cups were dirty. The biggest disappointment was the dirty washroom which was not cleaned even after we requested twice Our room was 400 meters from the lobby and was on 4th floor with no lifts so it was quite cumbersome even to make a phone call. No internet in rooms although their website says internet is available in rooms. Overall not a good match for the price we paid.

Fantastic location near to the beach Apart from the good location and clean rooms, everything is bad here. The resort does not appeared to be cleaned our upkeep daily. Everywhere the surroundings are dirty and filty, if I may see. You do not call that a swimming pool- more of a fish pond! I would definitely not come back to this resort. I must say, the management of this resort needs to be sacked immediately for their poor performance and this resort is a real embarrassment to all malaysian.

I suppose the hotel location was good. Comfy bed. Overpriced, staff not the friendliest, needs a lick of paint and some TLC, breakfast not great. When we arrived at the hotel it looks nice from the outside with a grand entrance. After this it went a bit down hill. The check in staff were not very friendly or helpful. We arrived early and were not allowed to check in till about 2pm. The rooms are set back a long way from the main reception and dining room.
The room was large but seriously needed a makeover. We could hear a lot of noise from other rooms. We did have a balcony though which was nice.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it was overpriced for the standard of room.
