Quite enviroment and private beach
Very unhelpful porter when checking out
The seaview room is big and has a good view. The beach is ok but not clean enough. It is good to stay if you want a quite enviroment but not convenient for shopping and eating. The porter maked me very unhappy when we check out as he talked to every taxi driver and claimed we should pay more. In the end we need to take the baggage to the main road in order to catch a cheapper taxi. I think it's the first but also the last time we stay at this hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel has no any special arrangement though we claimed we are on honeymoon. Hopefully they will provide personal service in the future and let customers feel it's worth their money.

Large room with a balcony and a lovely view of the lagoon. From ur room we ould also see the mountains and the Cable Car lookout points.
The room was very clean an the service was excellent.
No shuttle bus service from airport or daily into town. This would hae been useful as the resort is out of town and the cost of taxi limited your access to differnt places.
The lift smelt mouldy and was unpleasant to be in.
My husband and I spent five nghts at the Langkawi Lagoon Resort and had a wonderful time. The Resort is set up to meet the needs of muslim famlies and many of the guests were muslim,but a number of westerners were also staying at the resort. The room was very well appointed and serviced every day if required.We had a spectacular view of the lagoon and the mountains. We used room service a number of times and this came quickly as ordered. The business centre was available from early morning to 11pm and lots of information was provided by the staff. We did find it was cheaper to hire a car from the airport. The pool area was attractive and well maintained along with lots of lounges and seating while not swimming. This was our first time on the island and the staff at the resort made us feel welcome and we will certainly go there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Cable Car is a must to do and make use of the Duty Free shopping for alcholhol and chocolates.

Hotel room built on the water which is very special. You can enjoy a place without any disturbance.
transportation, e.g. free shuttle to different place.
It is a place very standalone. Golf car service to pick u up around the hotel area. s it is not located on the main road that means you have to call a taxi from the Conceierge everytime to the night market or famous restaurant which may charge additional 2 ringits

nice room, ecxellent food, sea view
it is my pleasure to speak about the lagoon resort
in langkawi, three nights were full of things, starting from the grating by the staff pasing through the safe comfortable room, bed, bathroom and nice swimming pool ending by the recreation and play ground for kidds. I cant forget the lilai al sham resteurant which was very pleasant and helpful. I shuould not forget to thank all of the staff for providing the convineince throughout my stay and i think it will be my pleasure to have it again an again

The staffs in hotel are not professional and they are not helpful. The breakfast quality is not good and we need to find a seat by ourselves. The food variety is not good enough.
But the room's view is good and it is clean. I admired that they opened air-conditioner in the room so I can enjoy the cool environment when I opened the door.

Being a resort gives the resident benefits of enjoying the sea beach and the swimming pool together.
1) Staff members : they dont know english well I mean recepionists
2) Check in time is 15:00 !!!
3)No proper announcement for the hotel activities.
4) Room service: rarely on time
5) House keeping quality is poor.
All what I can say is that I really had a very bad experience with lagnkawi lagoon hotel , I stayed in that hotel for 4 nights . Firstly the I can hardly communicate with the recepionists as they dont know english well . secondly My check in time was postponed for more than 30 minutes although I arrived the hotel on time. Thirdly concerning the room itself, the door of the balacone seems not designed to cope with the weather there as the weather was so windy & during sleeping I hear the sound of the winds passing through the door although it is closed properly !!Fourthly House keeping staff didnt change the blanquets of the bed except when I asked them to do so. Finally I discovered by chance that the hotel makes a special dinner for honeymooners although I was intersted in that.

Hotel staffs were friendly and nice private sandy beach.
the breakfast was not in high standard... food was not attractive. Hotel needs re furnishing.
Hotel needs refurnishing, bathroom basin was leaking, balcony was dirty needs cleaning and new paint. Externally the hotel is shabby and run down, needs new paint job too. Poor house keeping, our room was not clean even at around 3.45pm, we have to call the house-keeping for immediate action...We paid for 5 star hotel rate but received a 3 star service..How can this be called a 4 star hotel I don't really know. Not value for money. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and definetly will not stay there again. Poor management too.
Restaurant Tip : Few good restaurants recommended with good foods. The Loaf Bakery at Telaga Harbour Park, Rasa Restaurant, Orkid Ria Seafood Restaurant, Sun Cafe. Can beers are cheap..

The presence of insects, Long service, not Punctuality, not use the air conditioning
Langkawi Lagoon has a best view place at the see in malaysia and the best meetting in reciption counter. I hope so to comming to this hotel next year.

Good Location + Good View
I was a little disapoointed for the quality of its beach but, apart from that, the service is OK and the location is good. Besides, they should have a system to speed up the check-in time.... I stayed 3 days and I saw impatient customer in the lobby waiting for check-in everyday.
