Wonderful room at the Sea Village. The settings of the hotel were just ideal for our honeymoon. Our room overlooked the waters and provided complete privacy. The activities were priced rather steeply at the hotel as compared tot eh ones offered just beyond the hotel gates but all in all a wonderful stay. We also enjoyed the live band at the cafe. Thank you for making our honeymoon a wonderful time to remember!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The tours and adventure trips are cheaper if hired just outside the hotel.

Awesome executive sea village room. Ideal for honeymooners!!! Jellyfish in water surrounding the hotel. The executive sea village room that my brother and his wife were allotted for their honeymoon was the tops. They were also happy with the general place and its surroundings.
Inspite of asking for a king bed for the honeymoon couple they were given two single beds pushed together while staying at the hill facing room in the hotel the first night.

Stayed 4 nites in Jan 2010, paid for 5 star rate but the hotel standard is only a 3 stars. Changed room twice as airconditioning roared like a lion and rattled thru the night (both rooms), power socket did not work, booked seaview facing but was put on 1st floor with palms blocking complete sea view. Toilet tiles were dirty, mouldy and the balcony space is so small! Beach is unattrative, does not quite connect to hotel pool and beach bar located approx 100 metres from hotel is a tedious walk (thru sand) to reach it. Overall 2 out of 10, broke and dissapointed

Easy access from/to Airport. Staff are friendly I found some small bug in my coffee when I had my breakfast!! Some mosquitoes in my room for the first night, should do regulary pet control.
Easy to make booking thru Agoda and confirmation right away thru e-mail. Agoda staff every helpful when required officail receipt. Room was clean and electricity and water work as it should be.
Wireless is available at lobby for free of charge, but you can connect at breakfast area!!
Nice and clean beach. Swiming pool is small, but is ok for client who comes with their family.

-very nice (and big) hotel beach
-nice service
-mediocre breakfasts
-noisy air-conditioning
-the rooms are generally clean but some refreshing would be good
-lack of the free Internet in the room The hotel is located in very small fishermans' village. This causes it to be good place for spending quiet and lazy holiday (on the nice hotel-owned and not crowdy beach) but if You prefer to be closer to the shops, bars, etc. You'll have to spend some significant money on taxi' charges. The hotel has very nice service (the staff is generally very kind). Some of the disadvantage is the breakfast' menu (not very fresh bread etc.). However, the biggest disadvantage is the air-conditioning (forget about sleeping well if You're noise-sensitive).
Shopping Tip : If You read anywhere that Langkawi if a good shopping place because it's a custom-free area, don't believe it. The prices are not significantly different than generally in Europe.

the interior of the room(sea village) is old.
the cleaning staff never vacuum the floor, so the floor is very dirty. If you have a baby with you don't let her crawl on the floor.
cockroaches three times.
the new year gala dinner was seriously over priced. the inside of the roasted shrimps were still raw.

we booked the vacation very late, so there is almost only this hotel available. we booked the sea village. The whole experience at lagoon resort was ok, since they do have very friendly staff, however the rest was horrible.

Near the airport, near the main city... but just off
Excellent if you have you own transport as it is an excellent base to roam around the island
Very family oriented with a highly diverse population at the hotel. Very international feeling. Also nice with kids The hotel beach is not the best of the island by far because of proximity with the dike closing the bay. Hotel is isolated so if you don't have transport, it may be more difficult and costly to leave the hotel Nice resort. It is a nice place to hang out with family. It's near the airport, so no times lost at arrival. Location is very good to access various parts of the island.
The resort itself is nice though not that special

Sea Village rooms, friendly service, nice pool beach and attentiveness of the dining room staff The sea village rooms at the lagoon resort were lovely. The staff was friendly and attentive to all our requests. The food was of a wide variety and good. The beach was a man-made beach on the lagoon and as such was not the best but definitely acceptable as we have small children and it was probably safer than most. Overall a great family holiday.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We enjoyed the snorkeling excursion that was arranged by the hotel staff.

Private beach, Sea Village is great for family relaxing holiday. Great venue for a relaxing family holiday, good location close to airport and with the private beach it makes for a very exclusive setting. Hotel staff are friendly. The Sea Village layout is fantastic with private balconies and easy access via free buggy service. The Lagoon water is however not that clear. Night entertainment at the beach bar was good and after a dinner the ideal stop for final drinks before retiring to the room.

very nice service, big and clean room, beautiful view. without comb, internet service only in lobby, breakfast everyday is the same. it is the first time for me to take rest in Langkawi. Lagoon gave me a very good impression of Langkawi. When arrived hotel lobby, check-in service was fast and clear. After that, they provided a very tasty welcome drink. My room is in 1st floor, although cannot see the whole beach veiw but due to my room is above the lobby, so I can access free wifi service and no need to go to lobby. Once arrived the room, wow.....very big and it is the first time that i got my own kitchen in a room. However, the breakfast had no changed, everyday was the same. the swimming pool is good, I went to swim everyday. The sunset is very beautiful. Also, Lagoon has it own beach. I highly recommend you to stay in Lagoon. if i have chance to come back Langkawi, I will stay in Lagoon again.
Restaurant Tip : cactus restaurant, not expensive, tasty foods and friendly boss - opposite to Holiday Villa Hotel.

Great service, friendly staff Had a very enjoyable weekend stay here with another couple. The room was nice and large, the staff were very friendly and easy to ask for assistance (getting taxis, dinner suggestions), and we were even able to do a walk-in to the spa for a quick leg massage when we discovered that we had an extra couple of hours before we needed to depart for the airport. Would stay here again.

Booke dduring LIMA so not very value for money Got there and they served us welcome drinks which was a nice touch. Rooms were clean and spacious and the service was great. The beach was so so only tho. Near the airport so there are planes flying over but not really an issue after awhile.
Breakfast wasnt too bad and the spread was good. overall had a good time there.

We had pretty high expectations casue we paid quite abit due to the LIMA airshow. Facade was only so so but they interior was nice. SErved us drinks when we arrived and got us to our rooms which were not too bad. It was a private beach but nothing too fantastic, though it was clean. Pool was small but nice. Breakfast spread was pretty good. Overall pretty nice place. Doorman Mr Azman was extremly helpful and made all the difference.
