Nice location, quiet and free. Friendly staff and the chalets was comfortable
I did not like the available shower in the room so much.
Friendly staff, Location is near the cable car and Talaga tujuh. The best is the restaurant at the beach, seashell. The food is very special and nicely served. But all is good value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It is wise to arrange your own transportation on the island. We arranged our own rental car at the airport (at the arrival hall). Although it was the first time left-hand drive for me, it was easy to get used to it and safe to practise and see the island comfortably

Very fresh and 'outdoor' feel
Slightly remote from 'where it happens'
This is a lovely spot, with a clean sandy beach and tidy gardens. Being on its own, it doesn't feel cluttered by neighbouring development (unlike Pantai Tengah, down the road).
A request for twin bedded rooms was met without question. Actually I was astonished to be recognised by the staff following a previous visit.
Everything was clean and tidy. ..It's not brand new, but everything worked. The chalets are pleasantly sited around the site. 'Sea view' is translated slightly liberally. Breakfast is very pleasant and the coffee is good (worth mentioning in Malaysia!)
I would recommend this to anyone except those that are looking for the very smartest.
Travel tip : there's food outside the gates for slightly simpler/cheaper. Also a km away at the marina - or at the cable car

Private beach, well mantained rooms, secured privacy
Slight improvement on food would do...particularly Indian
Extremely great stay, good services with food available in house makes the stay just perfect. The best part is that you feel like you have a private beach for the resort.... Cleanliness is maintained just to compliment the overall beauty of the resort. The beach side restaurant with live band make the ambience just perfect. Just the ideal way to spend your holiday

Great Place. Private Beach. Near to some great attractions
Far from main area. The rooms a little old
Good place good breakfast good staff.
Travel tip : Bargain Bargain. Even the taxi drivers over charge so bargain try to find a metered taxi much cheaper.

good service
excellent food
good activities
if price can be lower....
enjoyed the view and facilites.
We had a great time here.
The individual chalets provides an exclusive feeling with good privacy too.
The catamaran ride was fantastic.
The banana boat was quite good fun.
The food we had espcially breakfast had a generous spread...both western as well as local.
The white sandy beach was superb too.
It was a great holiday

Room service menu needs improvement
I was there with my father for 3 nights and we had the best time! The staff were very friendly and they went out of their way to guide us and help us in any way possible! would love to stay there again! :)
Shopping Tip : Dont go straight to the malls! Check out the local shopping first!! and do NOT too much luggage with you as you're gonna end up being over the luggage allowance! ;)

Clean rooms, rooms just beside the seaside
The sewage pipe from my room was leaking. Unfriendly staff at the restaurant. Teh window blinds could not be left open. Maybe spoilt.
Our stay was too short to review much but nothing bad to comment. Overall he environment was nice and cosy. The hotel was secluded and peaceful. Cleanliness was satisfactory. One comment I would like to give is that the children’s swimming pool was too small and not much area for them to enjoy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The cable car trip near the hotel was a good experince.

Nice setting
Good wildlife
Slightly price-y for food, drink
Burau Bay is set quite a long way from any other venues apart from the gondola lift up the mountain and the marina down the road. ....But it is lovely. There's a good beach and plenty of trees. The outlook is over the sea, granite rocks , an island.... And some other less beautiful reosrt (just far enough away to not be too imposing) You read some other reviews suggesting it is jaded, but you'd have to be quite fussy to say this. OK It's not new, but it's plenty comfortable and clean. The breakfast is good. The wildlife was a win. There were hornbills, macaques,..and loaads of entertaining dusky leaf monkeys. Also butterfly lizards that run like tiny dinosaurs. The staff were very pleasant (again I've read contrary reviews).
Would I go back? Definitely. ..So definitely that I've already booked.
Travel tip : The marina down the road has a couple of nice harbourside restaurants.
Beer is a bit chaeper than the rest of Malaysia (duty free)

friendly staff, nice environment, good food in restaurant and near to cable car
the local tour offered by them costs a bit higher than the other resorts
We really enjoy our stay in this resort. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the room is small but clean. However, the local tour offered by them costs a bit higher than the other resorts. Anyway, it's worth to stay in this resort.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The resort is located very near to the cable car. It takes about 15 mins to there by walk. Its worth to visit it

beach location, proximity to cable car, good food in main restaurant
Old and tired cabanas, scruffy feel, small rooms, beachside restaurant could not cope when busy
We booked two cabanas for our family of 4 and overall was nothing more than OK. This resort is overpriced based on the current state of the cabanas which are now ageing and in need of a refurb.
The location and beach are great although it is a taxi ride to the main resort if you wish to eat out of the complex. Proximity to cable car is useful and for us the access to Telega Harbour for our onward trip was important.
The food was excellent and is highly recommended.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Book a snorkling or diving trip to Koh Lipe in Thailand - Its an hour on the ferry and if you get time spend a few days it is stunning

Location, Location... this lovely beach resort has a fantastic set up if all you want to do is sit on the beach!
Quite expensive food and drinks in the hotel, the rooms were a little rundown, however they were clean
Wow, what a location 100m from the beach! We upgraded to a beach side cabin which was worth every cent. We lazed around all day not doing much at all! what a place to do nothing.
Shopping Tip : There is a store out the gate and to the right of the hotel for basics like soft drink, snacks and books! There is also a basic restaurant next door.

private beach with amazing views, nice pool area, friendly staff, perfect for families with small children, safe and nice beach. Location is fine, close to cable cars, and luckily far away from the 'cheap-cheap' area further south. The litle bungalows are simple but clean and do the trick. Sea front is definetely worth it. Free wifi in the beautiful lobby, very relaxed place with monkeys around,...... just go !!
The restaurants are a little on the expensive side but just next to the entrance you can find much cheaper places.
We really enjoyed our stay, the magnificant view and the privacy of the beach. Langkawi became a very touristy place most of the other accomodations are nestled along the cheap and noisy area south of the airport. As mentioned above rooms are simple but clean. The hotel offers private tours and a catamaran is available for rent.
