First impression wasn't so good as the first receptionist did not even smile or greet me and family when we checked-in. Another receptionist who attended to us seems a bit better.
The room size is big and comfortable for a family. It's just the cleanliness should have been better. Dirts around the room corner, and dusty table which made the hotel looks old and not occupied.
Food is so-so.
Shopping Tip:
within a walking distance to kuah town shopping areas.

Simple yet convenient hotel. Good location at Kuah
Central location. Clean and big Rooms.

-Shops, supermarkets are at walking distance from the hotel.
-Breakfast is not good (better to eat outside).
-Taxis are easily available and can bring you to the nearest malls.
-Also taxis can bring to the Jetty area, where you can personally book different kinds of tours.
Travel tip:
-I would consider this a transit hotel to stay for a couple of days.
-It would be better if you spent your day touring around (book your tour at the Jetty).
-Definitely this is not a resort type of hotel to relax and enjoy the day.

the hotel is located in kuan town, easy to find and easy to go buy some chocolate and liquor. the room is very spacious, but the bed is not really comfortable though.

We checked in at 12.30 am and they gave us a third class room. Next morning, when i complained about this, they apologized by saying that the said room that i had booked was not available and thus they gave us a substandard room. Breakfast was cold and below standard. Overall, it was not a good experience for us.
The hotel was in kuah beach and thus all important places were nearby. Location was nodoubt good

myhotel is a great location to town and easy acsess to jeti as well. unfortunately unproductive front office and house keeping. if they can upgrade the service from both department other than that i have nothing to complaint.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
for the 1st timer to langkawi i would suggest to stay in myhotel as the accomodation and location is startegic and easy for travelers that wants to go to pantai chenang and kuah town.
public transport are easy to get infront of the hotel.

Dirty bed sheets and hotel

We arrived to My Hotel with "budget hotel" expectations in our minds. We were quite fast disappointed. We booked double bed room but we were given a room with 4 single beds. The second room although double bed as requested was under construction. After roughly half an hour of going from room to room the hotel stuff decided to give us the best room in the hotel. It was indeed a very nice with a huge balcony but the bed sheets were dirty. After another 15 minutes they were replaced.
The first experience was terrible. Stuff very helpful but too slow. Rooms ok but check the bed sheets before taking the room. There is a warm water available but it wasn't working in our "superior vip room".
We had to stay in this hotel for another night on the way back from Koh Lipe. I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless the price is very good.
Shopping Tip:
There is a Food market very close to the hotel. It was open on Saturday and probably on Thursday. Worth to check it out. Good food and friendly locals.
