Came in for 2 nights stay so we wanted to be close to the airport for a morning fligt. The hotell is old but clean and almost empty at the time we was there. Rooms where clean, but swimmingpoo was dirty and no good for using.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Only thing in walking distance is airport..

Very bad service. staff was work too slow.
Location for this hotel was good enough..it was just beside the airport and easy access to town.
But the room service have to improve. Every time I called for it at least I need to wait more than 15min.
The rest performance for this hotel overall is acceptable. If u stay at this hotel u need a transport because there are no vehicle provided.

Travel tip:
a very convenient location to travellers .more so when the hotel would go (hopefully) renovation as some room facilities need repair, etc

breakfast was mostly the same daily with one or two changes. if you go around 1000 hours, you don't expect to see re-fills so some of the food containers are left empty. be careful of the granite flooring. my husband had a fall. the cleaners were informed who subsequently called us to check if all is okay and if we required anything at all.
Restaurant Tip:
the a la carte menu is pretty good i.e. if you don't want to go out and eat.

it was a nice stay. the room was clean,quiet and spacy,pool outside was nice. the staff was very friendly everywhere.the breakfast was good. the airconditioning didn`t work well enough,it was quite warm. you had to pay for the use of internet and it didn`t work anywhere else than downstairs.
Hotel Feature Tip:
One Hotel Langkawi is very nice,spacy,quiet 3 star "luxury hotel" beside the airport (3 min. walk). There is pools outside,gym for training,nice restaurant with good breakfast and meals.Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Allthough the airport is near,there is no noise inside.Everything is quite far,you can`t walk anywhere else than to the airport where you can find several shops and few places to eat.The internet isn`t free and it works only downstairs.The hotel was value for money.

the hotel has large beds & room, great bathrooms but the overall look of the hotel is very run-down. breakfast was ok. hotel right next to airport but would be easier to rent-a-car to get to the tourist shopping/dining/beach area nearby
