The location was convenient. But the easy entry gate facing airport was not functional. Travel desk was friendly and helpful. We had an option to use the private beach of sheraton. Breakfast menu could be improved by including multi-cusines other than local cuisines. The pool was filled with leaves an was not functional and it was not informed prior to the arrival. During breakfast birds were picking from the plates which was disgusting.

We were allotted a very big & spacious room. Service was good. Staff were very helpful. No varieties for
Breakfast. Veggies will suffer a bit. You can get taxi @ any time. Very close to Airport, walkable within 5 min. All the beaches and the sight seeing places are not near. But that is not a problem for those who drive and depend on taxi.

Large room but old hotel

very very near to the airport n if rent a car, only 10 min drive to perdana quey, 20 to 30 minutes drive to kuah town, 12 minutes to pantai cenang. so it's ok for us to stay they. the room is big n all amenities are completed. even d bath room is big with a separated bath tub n a stand alone shower room. so can accommodate 2 persons to take bath at 1 time when in rush. but the hotel n d room are bit old. the lobby is quiet n the louge are closed maybe not popular. the breakfast selection is limited but consider ok for this rate.
Travel tip:
Sun spa at cenang beach owned by a japanese is great, clean n relaxing. Rm478 for 2 including a body message, body scrub, body wrap n a flower bath which takes ard 3 hours. Relaxing n we like it so much. For night life, not really happening in langkawi as most of the shops n pubs close at 11pm.

Good location, friendly staff and the right price

the room was spacious and clean. the staff were very friendly and helpful. despite the proximity of the airport, there was little noise and interference. a car hire or the use of taxis (not expensive) is necessary to see what pantai cenang and the rest of langkawi has to offer. the inclusive breakfast was good, and other meals of good quality and inexpensive. i would like to have been able to access the internet from my room. altogether, a good stay and i would use the hotel again.
Travel tip:
A trip up the Langkawi Cable-car is well worth it (if the weather is clear!). A car or use of taxis is almost essential. The reciprocal use of the beach facilities of the Sheraton are worth taking up.

Nice hotel with great service

On the day i arrive at the Langkawi, i was shocked to see the hotel is so near to the airport. This is very convenient for traveler to get to the airport without rushing. The bed is big enough and comfort. The hotel is equipped with wireless internet, however during my stay, the wireless internet is temporary out which make me unable to surf internet for 3 days. The breakfast is nice, where every morning they prepared different type of meal for us. The food is fresh. Very friendly hotel staff. They even tidy up our room everyday. Nice stay at here.

This hotel is located next to the airport.The room is very big and there is 2 queen size beds in the room. The cleanliness of the room is acceptable. However, the beds are not so comfortable as they are old. The breakfast serve was average and not much variety.The hotel staff service was average

The location of the hotel is great, it is close to the airport and suitable for travellers without vehicles. It takes only 10 minutes to reach Cenang beach by car, one of the popular beaches in Langkawi and 20 minutes to reach Koah, a small town to get our duty free staff. The price of the room we paid for was reasonable.
Shopping Tip:
It is definitely worth dropping at the shopping complexes at Koah to get the duty free goods.
