Good for those who are driving on the island
7.3
The hotel is getting old. The hotel may appear new from the outside, but its rooms and lobby do need a bit of renovation.
The room is spacious, yet basic. The bathroom needs renovation the most.
To get to Cenang beach from the hotel, you must take a cab. Except the dining options inside the hotel, there is no other option unless you take a cab out. This hotel may be more suitable to travellers who have their own cars to travel around the island or travellers who prefer quietness.

Perfect getaway:fair price, good people & relaxing
Location, sea views from room, friendly staff
8.7
The Superior Sea View room was great. With excellent views and plenty of space for two people, we were very satisfied with the room overall. Room service was a bit hit-and-miss, as some days we were given fresh bottles of water and clean towels, but other days we weren't. Staff was very friendly and helpful, there were plenty of adventures/excursions or day trips available to enjoy and the atmosphere at the resort was just what we wanted. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice getaway destination. Food is cheap yet very tasty, the area and island are safe, people are helpful and there is plenty to do. Approved!
Restaurant Tip:
Have dinner at Rose Tea 2 in Cenang and at Sheela's, which is on the way to Awana from Cenang. Both had excellent food and great service from friendly, helpful Malaysian staff. The dining atmosphere is quite unique and makes for a memorable experience. The price of the dishes for the portion sizes is excellent, so it won't break the bank to enjoy an authentic Malay meal and walk away with a full stomach. If you're on Langkawi Island, Rose Tea 2 and Sheela's are two places you should make time to experience.

Served its purpose well
Beautiful dock, lovely scenery, the rooms were BIG, clean and functional
7.7
We stayed here on NY Eve, and they had large groups of people checking in and out and although there were only two people at the front office manning the crowds, they did it super efficiently and i cannot thank the lady on duty that day who helped us secure two connecting rooms, with double beds and who ensured that we didn't have to wait hours to secure our room.
The rooms itself were nice, i loved the balcony, the huge double beds, there was absolutely NO problems whatsoever at this resort. Although the only thing about this resort is the distance from Pantai CEnang, but for the price they offer, it beats a lot of other hotels along the stretch, this is what i call quality service at an affordable price. Yes, i would most definitely stay there again.

Fantastic hotel, lovely setting, great views
Set on a penisular, beautiful views, best breakfast
9.3
The hotel is huge! With all the features one needs. It is set on a penisular on the souther tip of Langkawi. It has the best view on the island.
The service in the hotel is great. The rooms large. Our garden view room had two doubl/queen beds, plus plenty of room to move around! The bathroom has seen better days, but it's only a minor draw back.
The breakfast every morning is simply the best! Great variety of drinks, western, malay, chinese, and other SE asian food options. Eat breakfast while enjoying the views of the sea and islands.
Also I booked boat tickets with the Awana water sports staff. I found them to be the most friendly and helpful people. They are an agent. They advised me that I can pay on the day of boat trip by credit card. But something changed, and on the day of the boat, the boat company did not accept credit card. The staff who do not even know me lent 200 ringgit. Special thanks to the staff there!

Our stay was good.
Rooms were big and clean.
The bathroom was clean but in a run down condition.
It's an old hotel which is well kept but bathrooms need renovation.
Breakfast was good.
