Damai Suites are 50 sqm and offer Garden Courtyard views. They have a sitting area and spaceous open bathroom. Although very spacious, extra beds are not permitted in these rooms thus, Damai rooms can accommodate 2 adults only.

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful beach and swimmming pool. Malaysian and Indian food was amazing. However, the mediterranean and foreign food was not average. Located 30 min frome main strip and town. The Tanjung rhu was one of the better resorts i have stayed at. From the time we were picked up at the airport, to the time we left we were treated so well. The Spa treatments were great, and organised activities were exceptional. The resort was peaceful and quiet. I would definetly return.
Restaurant Tip : The malaysian curries are to die for. Stick to the malaysian food for real authenticity

All inclusive package is outstanding value. Great food and place to relax. Far from the main town but we spent all our time in the resort anyway so it didnt matter We got the all inclusive package and this is a must. It allows you free meals and non alcoholic drinks at all the resort restaurants, room service, pool and beach service too. Free transfer to the airport as well. Great location to enjoy the beach and relax. They have 3 different pools and free organised activities throughout the day. You can also go on arranged tours at a cost but we didnt do any because we wanted to stay and enjoy the resort. Fantastic finish to our holiday in Malaysia.

Lovely beach, cleaned every day, great food in Rhu and Saffron restaurants, very friendly staff, great rooms, 3 pools, very nice Library and DVD selection for a rainy spell, really nice Mangrove tour. Sea can be a bit murky, when there's strong winds We stayed in the Tanjung Rhu resort in Langkawi twice as it is truly paradise. The all inclusive package (no alcohol) is great as you get remarkable food above all in the Rhu restaurant - which needs to be booked the same day in advance (try the mango flambee, which is made right before your eyes). The 3 pool areas are great, the lagoon pool is great for kids as they can play in the shallow water in the sand and the Sands pool is for adults only which makes it a great spot for couples. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are fab, above all the ocean view, the overall atmosphere of the resort is very peaceful and relaxing.
Hotel Feature Tip : Mangrove tour, see eagles and monkeys, feed fish and walk through a bat cave, really lovely.
