Room Beach

Costly meal

Overall this hotel is very good. Room is very clean & well decorated. Size is good enough for family (2 adult & 2 small children). Food quality is good, especially for Japanese restaurants. However, food price is extremely high. Pool is OK. Children are happy as they can play slider. Beach is OK, too. View on the beach is gorgeous, but sea water may not be so clean. Staff is good. Room was ready when we arrive there on 12PM. It was easy to extend check-out till 3PM. We liked it so much there!

Restaurant Tip : Breakfast is avaialble at only 1 restaurant. Japanese breakfast there is a good choice if you are tired of continental buffet.

location by the beach - room standard - isolated location in the rainforest -

The fitnesscenter with very old equipment - several machines broken. The main restaurant unfortunately didn´t live up to the same high standard as previous years

We have been to the Andaman five times. We simply love it despite a few weaknesses. The clear water, the rainforest outside your door, the silence except for the noise from the rainforest makes it the most relaxing place you can find.

excellent service; resort built right into rain forest

food & beverages too expensive

A quite unique resort built into the rain forest with minimal disruption to nature. Good place for quiet relaxation around pool, on beach or on nature walks. Excellent service - cold towels and ice water passed to those around pool or on beach. A rental car would be useful as resort is isolated and hotel taxis are expensive. Meals are also excellent, but pricey.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Kilim Ecoforest boat trip to eagle feeding is definitely worthwhile.

Room : always hear the sound of wave, Hospitality : polite but friendly hotel staff. View : very good ! feel nature.

Food : good but expensive.

Overall, this hotel is a very nice hotel. For restaurants, foods are good, but expensive. They have local food menu, but they are made to western fusion. People who visit there, probably expect local taste, I think. If they were providing pure local foods, my satisfaction would be more increase, even if it was expensive.

Restaurant Tip : The guest of THE ANDAMAN can use "THE DATAI" restaurant. " The Gulan House" is located between their two hotels is very nice.

The rainforest view rooms may be dark so ask for a seaview deluxe or lanai room. Lanai rooms have a small private balcony that you can sit out on whereus deluxe rooms have only a standing room. All in all recommended for a more quiet luxury back to nature stay.

Hotel Feature Tip : Make sure you go on the free night or morning wildlife walk with the resident naturalist - you'll see plenty.

luxureus decorated, beautifull view and beaches, high service level, very good for young kids at the Kids club

as hotel is in an isolated area of the island, there are only a few possibilities for lunch/diner

When we arrived at the Andaman hotel, we were overwhelmed by the luxurious style of the hotel and the personalized service. The view on the top floor on the beach and ocean is amazing. The private beach is very nice as well as the pool area. Also for young kids the hotel is well adapted with their own Kids club.\nRooms are very nice decorated and cleaned 2x per day. Very high service level and friendly staff.\n\n

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A trip with the cable train to the mountain tops of Langkawi, amazing view!

Rry to get one of the rooms closer to the lobby. Others are quite a walk to get to anything.

Pyeonim of the hotel, clean spacious rooms. Cleaned twice a day. Staff kindness. Swimming pool, beach, good. Good walking trails also.

Hotel rooms are ants. Hotel's car rental place so remote it convenient to move. Hotel food is expensive compared to pyeonyigo food prices compared to outside food or a good episode.

The hotel is located in the best rest. Quiet and the scenery is also good. It is not a car moved, not the free pyeonyimyeo, the hotel was not that I think the food is a great price.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Langkawi Cable Car (Oriental Village) is located relatively close to the hotel. Village I, a relatively inexpensive Japanese restaurant and food pyeonim okay. Beojaya Resort also located. Recommended, but also close to a crocodile farm, thinking it was not.
