I have to say that Langkawi is not a very exciting vacation destination where has not much things to do. Good thing is we stayed at the Danna this time. The hotel is nicely designed and built with beautiful landscaping and quiet surroundings. I especially like their breakfast service. Breakfast is buffet/made-to-order with free flow of champagne. Many choices to choose from the menu for entree and made-to-order makes sure our breakfast was serving hot and fresh.
The infinity pool is also very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who's planning a trip to Langkawi.

the danna was an absolute delight. upon arrival, we received a complimentary neck and shoulder massage. we were escorted to our room and once we entered we were amazed by the room. the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was beautiful with its wide opening doors and wooden floored shower cubicle. the infinity pool is also really nice, we noticed a lot of people stayed there for hours. there is also a sunglass cleaning service, where a hotel staff comes around an cleans your sunglasses. it was very different to anything i have ever seen before. we had lunch and my expectations of hotel food are not very high, however the food was quite good here. it was sad to leave after only 2 nights because it exceeded our expectations of the hotels and service in malaysia. i highly recommend it!

We have totally 5 kids(under 5) travel together and they all enjoy staying at this hotel very much! The kids pool is safely design and kids playing room seems nice(we didn't have chance to go during our stay!). We will definitely go again if go to Langkawi next time!

nice room and swimming pool. hotel staff have been helpful, hospital and good smile. the location is off the prime area and has no night life but on the contrary, it is more quite. if one is looking for a quiet resort to relax for a few days without going around, this is a good choice for such holidays.

Once we walked into the hotel. The nice fraguance of Jasmine filled all our senses. We feeled an immidiate sense of relaxation. Once we walked into our room. The big balcony with the sea view is breath taking. We fell in love with our room and the hotel immediately.
The infinity pool was great.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The marine park is a must go, if you have small children, but do not go during high season. Too many people.
