Great location for sunset, Away from the crowds along Pantai Cenang. Friendly Staff.

Friendly staff who were attentive to the guest's needs. The location is also very good for catching sunset. Location was good as there are also numerous alternative food sources just within 5 minutes walk outside the resort.

It is on pantai tengah, the beach next to pantai cenang. A little bit away from the busy street, but still easy to access to the main shopping area, restaurants and bars. The room was simple and basic, spacious and clean. The breakfast menu was quite disappointing.

nice little resort in the wrong neighborhood

The resort is well maintained and clean, with big tress, palms, nice buildings and pool area etc. People take care and are very friendly.
The beach is nice and was almost empty.
I booked a beach villa and found a nice little hut with king size bed, good bathroom environment, air conditioning, big TV screen etc. and a marvelous view to the sea side. Little huts directly at the beach spend sufficient shadow to save my sun weaned skin.
Restaurants in the environment delivered a variety of possibilities in the evening and I had a good time.
The only topics I found on the negative side of this arrangement was
- the noise and gasoline smell caused by a very busy fun sports agency on the public beach next to the resort. Unfortunately in total 4 boats with each 200 horse power two stroke outboard engines were pulling flat budget tourists hanging like wet flour sacks below colorful parachutes like pearls on a string right in front of the beach. In addition a bunch of rental water scoters were going round and round in cirles all day long. And at least water scoters pulling rubber bananas were rounding up the noisy fun sports beach action.
- the location within the airport approach path conneted with noise of starting and landing aircrafts.
So finally I felt the resort a nice place but in the wrong location.
I think, it is just bad luck that such a nice resort as the frangipani is at least captured back into normal big business by a quickly developing mass tourism environment.
