Nice beach, decent pool, adequate rooms

My friends and I enjoyed the hotel's pool and beach. We were there during the Raya holidays. Unlike some of the comments I've read here, the pool and the beach were not crowded at all. In fact, it was relatively quiet in the afternoons.
The rooms were adequate, albeit old. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner was working fine. Only niggle was the small bathroom and its peeling floor.
The buffet breakfast was alright, some days were better than others. Wished they served real brewed coffee instead of Nescafe.
I had yummy cocktails at the beach bar. We tried the burgers and the beef kuay teow noodles. The food wasn't so good, but my friends loved the fries.
Would I stay here again? Yes

strictly a budget hotel, rooms were musty & bathroom was mediocre. but the beach front enjoyed by this hotel is second to none and the pool is good too. it is close to pantai cenang and the best spa's on the island, hiring cars from the tshoppe close by is very simple and convenient. all in all this hotel serves its purpose of being a good hotel for a small vacation.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Dont miss the segway ride and the cable car

It was good service from the reception. And very good room clearning service, but room quite old, air condition is not too good, it was blewing all the time.
It is far from the main street, no enough choice of food from hotel restaurant.
No night Life from this area

nice,cozy, relax but the room a bit old ...lovely beach, nice swimming pool& garden view...nearby famous japanese restaurant - Unkaizan Restaurnt .....

comfortable, clean and quiet.
a little plain for my liking. no view from hotel room.
breakfast pricy.
excellent beach front location.
more information could have been made available by staff.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
island hopping is a waste if you are not intending to swim

Great location, nice pool, but bedroom need refurb
on the beach, close to many restaurants, nice cafe, nice swimming pool, wifi in lobby, breakfast buffet

The bedrooms are not really a 3 star bedroom. Need refurbishment.
Swimming pool is nice, location is also good even if on south of Pentai Tengah. Breakfast was ok. asian style with some western options (pastry, bread, omelette).
Very close to many restaurant options walking distance. The duty free mall is not very far (3 min taxi or scooter)and alcohol is a good deal there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a scooter, so cheap and so convenient

our stay at lanai beach resort was enjoyable.check-in was quick. the rooms were clean but somewhat outdated. the breakfast was good although the choice was limited. the pool was clean and there were plenty of lounge chairs. the beach was nice and water sports were available at a good price. there were some good eateries across the road. this hotel is quiet and if you prefer a little bit more action, i would recommend booking closer to town. on the other hand, if you just want to relax this might be the place for you.

great pool and location
big pool, nearby restaurants, clean beach

eventhough the hotel is old, but it's still great to stay there. the pool is great for kids and the beach is somewat private as the hotel is at the end of the beach.
Shopping Tip:
always buy your duty free liquor in The Zone shops, don't go to shops at Kuah town, they're more expensive and it's watered down

my kids like here beach,pool and the sands. breakfast so_so.. the rest was ok for me. only that extra bed not comfortable,so soft sleep till my back pain.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
sea activity was great here. banana boat charge at RM25/head count. jetsking RM130/30min.
