We had a very enjoyable stay in Langkawi. Hotel staff helped organize a driver to take us to the mountains and around the island. Hotel restaurants are good, and we particularly enjoyed or dinner at the Malaysia restaurant. Food was really fantastic.

breakfast was good, apart from bread, eggs,salads and stuff, we were served pipping hot local food like nasi lemak and roti prata with homemade curry. Room was big an comfy, with nice balinese design. Had to leave early on my last day and the staff deliver some food to our room cos the cafe was not opened. Only complaint was the bad wifi in the room.

We have stayed at Villa Molek four times. The villas are spacious with the luxury of a full sized fridge. The pool is small but relatively quiet although there seem to be more people "reserving" sun beds this year which is one European trait that I would like to see kept out of Malaysia. When there are only a few sun beds they need to be "reserved" by bodies not towels. The resort staff are all friendly and helpful and the place is kept spotless.
The area surrounding Villa Molek is quiet but with good shops and restaurants. The nearby Sun Cafe has lots of diners who return there every year for good food and friendly staff.

Stayed her with family and booked three rooms. All were fantastic and the service from the owners was fantastic. Great place to stay if you want to get away from it all, no children and only 12 rooms make for a great place. Breakfast is cooked to order and was delicious. The hotel helped with booking a sunset cruise which was also great. Only a five minute walk to the beach and loads of great restaurants on your doorstep, including the Italian at the entrance to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

What a lucky find Villa Molek was.
Within 15 minutes of arriving in our room/villa we felt that we had begun to relax and 6 days later, we didn't want to leave!
The rooms are more like apartments. They are very clean, beautifully appointed and have a wonderful energy.
The staff are very friendly and accomodating.
The breakfast is lovely and you must try the chicken curry which was simply addictive.
There are too many details to mention, but the sum total make Villa Molek the perfect place to wind down.
Restaurant Tip:
Right across the road is a Lebanese restaurant(yes in Langkawi) called Mona which is the best Lebanese we have ever eaten. Brilliant.
