is a good place for vaction but abit far away from kl. is a nice view from the hotel balacony. is an affordable price to stay. nice food was provided. good staff and good service too

The band in the bar area is good
This is my 2nd time stay at Swiss Garden, Damai Laut. I was very disappointed. We were hungry at around 4pm so we decided to go to the restaurant(I couldn't recall the name but we r having the breakfast at tomorrow morning) there is only 2 tables occupied but we already waited 45 mins just for nasi kampung ayam, nasi goreng yong chow, spagetti n last the fun was totally forgotten then we waited another half an hour for the fun...the thai restaurant r totally diference from my 1st visit which is on the June 2009. The hair dryer in the room is dented n no warm water.
well, i think i might not visit again soon because there is difference between my 1st visit n 2nd visit. Taste of the Thai food is changed, services at the hotel also changed. Swimming pool r dirty this time and i don't see any staff station at the pool area specially the towel session.

excellent golf course, reasonable value
infested with flies and mosquitoes - not pleasant if you are prone to mosquito bites or don't enjoy sharing your meal with flies.
We stayed for 4 nights at the above hotel. It provided value for money and offered some good activities and excursions. We played golf and were very impressed by the course.
On the downside the hotel suffers from too many flies and doesn't appear to do anything about this. Quite a contrast to the hotel on pangkor island where we stayed afterwards which was immaculate. We found the Swiss garden slightly run down and grubby.
Restaurant Tip : eat at the BBQ by the sea
