Good location is the most important advantage and nice breakfast.
But the room is small, no window and strange smell.
No teethbrush and teethpaste, cannot buy it in the hotel, you need to go to the convenience store to buy.
Nightlife Tip:
melaka river is so beautiful at night, and a night market is beside the melaka river and near to the Red House.

First time staying here and as very surprised when I reached the place as the rooms are bigger and cleaner than other highly recommended hotels I always stay in. Only thing is there is not reception after 12am and very limited parking

the hotel is very near Jonker street, walking distance 2 minutes to reach jonker street. beside that, the hotel is juxt opposite the attraction church! easy to get nice food there.

We stayed at Aldy for 2 nights. The hotel has excellent location where most of Melaka attractions surrounded. Only a short walk to Jonker st, Queen Victoria fountain, Stadhuy, St Paul historical church, Femosa...and very close to the river. I was a bit disappointed as all the shops at Jonker st close at 5.00 pm. But we found strolling along the river bank was so relaxing and romantic. We like our room. It is spacious and clean. Staff is just ok, not very friendly and helpful. The bathtub' plug was stucted and we had to wait until the next morning for it to be fixed. Restaurant's staff not friendly when serving breakfast but their service improved for paid dinner. Having dinners at Aldy are great time as there were beautiful live music, which remind us of the old days, and very relaxing. Despite small things, we like this hotel and will come back. Much more happy and satisfy if receive friendly smiles from hotel staff.

Just in front of Jonker st n rite in the middle of the tourist attraction(st.paul church,red house n museum.The complimentary breakfast use to be better,i had the american breakfast n the sausage n the beans doesnt taste good.
Shopping Tip:
Nite market in Jonker St. On Sat n Sun is really happening n d price are pretty reasonable.need not to bargain much...just few ringgit.The price are lower than the malay store in d day which located rite infront of the hotel.the boat ride at night along the riverside is great.

The staff was polite. The hotel environment was great. Facilities is good especially the breakfast we had at the cafe.
The shower water in bathroom is not strong enough. The flow of the water is too small.
