Little disappointment but still ok
Spacious room, good location
First impression was good, grand lobby, friendly receptionist. The receptionist allowed us to check out late by 2pm even we didn't request for it. Upon entered the deluxe room that we booked, there was little musty carpet smell, however it was still acceptable. Room was huge, same to the bathroom, cleanliness was acceptable as well. We were greeted by plate of complimentary fruit on the table. The deluxe room looked a little bit old but since the hotel is undergoing renovation on floor by floor basis, I guess the room would look much greater after the renovation. Things that bothered me were first, the water was dirty, it was especially obvious after using the bathtub as it left some yellow stain on the bathtub. Secondly, the water is not hot enough especially during late night when taking the shower. Besides that, 2 power points were not functioning. For the breakfast, it was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Food was not hot, choice was limited and taste was bad. Overall, the hotel may still be considered but after the renovation has been completed. Location of this hotel is good too.

Need Major Refurbishment

This hotel need major uplift not just on some room/floor. Everything, from parking issues, lifts, lobby, cafes, swimming pool, interior and etc. Even, the newly renovated room has poor finishing. Though there is some renovation work in progress but look like very unprofessional work and just minor make over. At the moment, it look like very run down hotel. The breakfast spread is very poor, considering that i pay RM29 per kid and i have to pay for two children. Not the same quality of The Bayview Hotel Chain that i would expect. Not worth the money and time spent here. Disappointing.

Nice room, bad breakfast
Room was clean, bathroom big and clean, friendly staff
Easy checkin but clearly reservations did not read the booking right and although we had booked and paid for a rollaway and breakfast they did not have this down and wanted to charge us again. Once we confirmed and they looked at the paperwork it was all good. Breakfast was terrible, buffet hot food was cold as it was uncovered ons only had one burner per dish...
