nice & comfortable stay
near the tourist area, good food & quiet surroundings

the stay in total was nice. relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and nice food choices. the check in and out was fast, no hassle and was able to get us a taxi fast! the location of the hotel is beside the river so if your looking for a river cruise you can buy it in the reception counter itself. walking distance from the tourist spots like jonker street, St Francis church, sultanate palace etc ...it was just so hot when we went for our tour so better bring hat or umbrella and lots of sunblock! the surrounding is peaceful only throwback is there is a bar below the hotel that have a loud sound at night so if your a light sleeper then it will be a problem.

The hotel is easy to find cause is along the Malacca River. The room are clean but the pillow are smelly , i think they have not change it for months... Hotel front desk people are friendly during check in and check out. Car park at the basement is kinda dirty and limited space.and funny thing is that you cannot use the lift to access the hotel u have to walk up and down the ramp to get to your car which I find it dangerous.Food during morning breakfast is a let down. But overall is ok with the money we paid, it worth it.

No power outlet at the writing table, as a business traveler like me, it is difficult for me to do my work with my laptop. No aircon fan speed control. THe only to adjust the aircon is the thermostat.

There were limited parking spaces,lights in the room were not were not well maintained, only certain rooms get newspaper everyday even though room types are the same. The breakfast was ok.
