We really enjoyed our stay at Holiday inn melaka. The hotel rooms and shared areas were of a very high standard, the breakfast was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a couple of minor issues with the bar fridge & the safe, and they were both fixed within 10 minutes of being reported.
The only negative thing is about the location. While it is very close to major attractions, it is let down by the major road between it and those attractions. When I say major road, I mean 6 lane highway with no where to cross. This really means you are dependant on taxis or the hotel shuttle. The hotel should look at building a pedestrian walkway above the highway, and in the short term, drastically increase the frequency of the shuttle bus.

Great Hotel Within Shopping Belt n Jonkers Street

Stayed at Holiday Inn on numerous occasions and never experienced any issue except for our recent stay in March at the Spa.We booked the spa treatments for three of us and only upon
completions of the treatment the massues then mentioned to us that there's a March promotion but by then we are already done with our selected package and had we been aware of it earlier we would like to try it.We were personally at the counter to book the spa treatment but it was not highlighted to us.Not sure the reasons why it was not brought to our attenton.
