The hotel room is very spacious, it even has a day bed. The view is not really extraordinary. The best part about the hotel is that it is located very near to all good food and good shopping, right next to Dataran Pahlawan, the heart of shopping. It's all within walking distance. But it can get a bit messy if you want to go to jonker street and other places because the traffic is horrific once you step out from the hotel.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is next to the shopping mall and close to many good food outlets.

During my stay, the air condition not functioning properly .did call for service .... working fine for few hours. Too late to call again....the room kind of hot ...kids crying can't sleep

One of the better hotels to stay in malacca town. Accessible to shopping mall, eateries and also the historical site.
If you are driving, the hotel has good safe car park.
The room was ok and the breakfast is good.

There's really nothing much to do in Malacca but thank god for the room we booked at Hotel Equatorial. The Equator Club room was astounding and very comfortable. It was fully equipped with a sofa, tv, and king sized bed. Even had its own check in check out counter on a high floor.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Jonker Street on weekends.

The room was spacious, our kids really enjoyed it, especially the daybed. They slept there with no fuss at all until morning. It can fit both of them, 10 years old and 6 years old. We were at the 15th floor and the view was enjoyable. Parking lots were very limited though. Shopping complexes and eateries are just within walking distance.
