Relaxing Stay
Good service from hotel staff. Tried and test hotel. Good sized rooms and very good breakfast spread. Location is good too.

One of the Grand Old Lady
Despite the age of the hotel, they still maintain it very well. My wife & I like the room balcony with a very good view as well as the swimming pool. Luckily we switched from Ramada Plaza to Equatorial. Cheaper & better. The staff were very efficient & helpful. Unlike Ramada Plaza who can't even get a taxi for us.

This is my 2nd time stay at this hotel, very clean and good location. Near shopping mall. But too bad the pool water too cold and not suitable for children. maybe can try to improve. Overall is good, will stay again if go Malacca again.

Great weekend
The room is clean, view is great, location is very strategic.
It was awesome. Everything was great apart from the shower. The water pressure was low and the water temperature was kind of high even though I have turned to the right which is supposed to be cold. Other than this, everything was great.

Worst customer service
Good location
Unfriendly customer service. We reached hotel at 1pm and was informed that our rooms are not ready and asked to wait until 3pm but at stated in the T&C is 2pm. When i asked them at 3pm they said our rooms were still not ready. We only managed to check in around 4.30pm. I have an infant together with 2 elderly waiting at the lobby. What kind of service they are providing? We are attending the wedding dinner at the hotel at 7pm the same night and we have no time to rest at all especially my baby and in-laws. Furthermore, the front desk staff are very rude and show face to me. Its really a nightmare and for sure we are not going to walk into the hotel anymore. The second thing is that we had informed the front desk that we need a late check out at 1pm for both our rooms. But we were very frustrated that they chase my 2 elderly in-laws out from from their room at 12 noon. Is this how they treat their guest especially the elderly? If the wedding dinner is not held at the hotel, we will not face this kind of frustration. It s for the conveinences of my in-laws not to travel far as both of them are not in good health and walk with walking stick. I am not sure whether the hotel management know what their staff are doing or the only provide good service for foreigners not for locals. Worst nightmare ever.

Our family has been a long time customer of this hotel and normally it has multiple perks that makes it our first choice such as the close proximity to the malls in the area as well as its comforts. However our trip was slightly disappointing as the electric kettle was malfunctioning, as well as the safebox and there was no curtain for the shower. To make matters worse, the water from the tap was yellow and my family was forced to brush our teeth with bottled water. We complained to the hotel directly and got our next stay free so at least we got our compensation.
