The hotel's location is exactly how we like it: one or two blocks away from food places and historical sites, but not in the middle of it. The room we got was spacious and clean, though we found little ants every now and then, which the hotel staff diligently sprayed [I think it is common everywhere

The hotel is near to the famous food street, and 3 shopping malls.

The Band was not performing at the bar as the management was sourcing for another band, informed by the staff. The K5 cafe was undermanned and service was slow on a weekday however the staff was courteous.

Brilliant location!
Good location, rooms were above average.

hotel is situated within walking distance to major places of interests so we can just park our car throughout the entire stay and just walk around to enjoy the city. rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable, even had a small balcony. no other tall buildings around so view of the city and the sea were not obstructed. located near major malls too so can do a bit of shopping and eating.

We enjoyed our one night stay at Equatorial apart from being strategic location, all our request and expectation were met. We "the parents" loved the spacious-clean room, and baby loved the comfy feeling too as she was oblivious to new environment. Most importantly,She sleeps well too!
I would like to highlight that the parking elevators weren't functioning that resulted inconveniences that could have been improved.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Enjoy the Trishaw ride that cost less than Rm40 to go around the historical site and walking distance to shopping malls and local restaurants

I have always chosen Hotel Equatorial when holidaying in Malacca.
Just love the ambiance around and in the rooms that are of 4 star class.Great package with Agoda to go along for a pleasant stay.
Will always use this combination for future stays.
Shopping Tip:
Make use of the proximity of the shopping complexes to the hotel. You can get great stuff without having to venture far and wide

i like the room, it's clean & big. excellent location for shopping because the dataran pahlawan shopping mall is just next to the hotel and oppsite is a new hatten shopping mall. the hotel swimming pool at 4th floor is big and great, it has children pool. value for money and no regret to choose this hotel.

this is my second time to malacca equitorial. the room is reasonably large, and came with a king size bed. staying here i do not have worry about the quality of service. a hotel that i can feel relief with. the location is super strategic. you can get to do both heritage sightseeing and the modern shopping both within walking distance. it is a good place to be.
