Good room size and perfect cleaniness
The room is very clean and qiuet for a good nioght sleep.

The hotel is located very near all the historical sites (within walking distance) and easily access to famous eatery like the Nyonya restaurants. It's just in front of the Pahlawan Mall which in convenient for any last minute grocery purchase.
Shopping Tip:
The Nyonya restaurant at Malaka Raya which is within walking distance is very good.

Good Hotel, Great Location

Located next to the shopping centre which is a convenient location for food.
The hotel room is clean and the facility is good for the rate I paid. It is about 10 - 15 mins walk to the popular night market Jonker Street which is an advantage.
I would recomend this hotel to people who don't mind paying a bit more for good and convenient location.

This is definitely the best rooms during out 8 days of travelling thru the whole of Peninsula Malaysia. The view from our rooms were simply breathtaking. The rooms itself were spacious with excellent airconditioning and wonderfully great beds. Only down-side was its lack of internet connectivity (network cable not working and WIFI completely not available).
It was also strategically located so we were able to walk to Jonker Street, the Stadthuys, etc.

This is my first visit to Melaka and we decided to pick Equatorial. Wise decision! The hotel stuffs are friendly, and the location of the hotel is within the vicinity of lots of great shopping and food. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean, comfortable bed. We get a newspaper every morning as well.
Restaurant Tip:
Try Bayonya which is very near the hotel!

I checked into this hotel after early check out from one of the newer hotels in Melaka which was a total disappointment. I have stayed in the Equatorial Hotel before and I knew what to expect. Professional, friendly and English speaking reception staff. Large room with all facilities to make my stay comfortable and relaxing.
I should have booked in here from the beginning!
Only negative --no wifi in rooms, only ethernet plug connection for broadband.
