The owner of Hotel Hong is a very nice and helpful person.First of all, he asked his son to pick us up at the Melaka Sentral Bus station and then send us back to the station the day when we leave Melaka. This is very sweet because the bus in Melaka sometimes don't apply the schedule, so people get confused and lost on the street. Secondly, the room of hotel hong is tidy and clean. I liked the pillow it is very soft, and I had a very comfortable sleep that day. Hotel Hong makes me feel like home.

This is really a nice hotel with all basic amenities available. Centrally located in town with just few steps away from Jonker Street and historic core. Staffs are friendly and the boss will drive us around and to the bus terminal with clear guide. The best in Malacca!

The Hong Hotel is a very small hotel located approximately 8 minutes away from Jonker Street and the main central part of Melaka. The room itself was extremely small (so be aware if you have lots of luggage... there is just about enough room to swing half a cat, let alone a whole one!) but it is clean, and the staff are friendly. Great for the price, and the bed is comfortable for an easy night's sleep. No breakfast or lunch is served, but there are plenty of convenient eateries in Melaka anyway.

Clean room and good service. Walking distance to Jonker Street and other cultural sights. However, it's not a good location to find Halal food. I'd suggest booking another hotel, probably somewhere nearer to the shopping malls for that.

The stay was pleasant., we could not find fault with it.
We went to malacca during the weekdays. the streets were really quiet, to the point where it felt quite dangerous. Besides food, there was really nothing that we could do. However, the owners were smart enough to have a DVD player in the room, or else we would have gone crazy from the boredom. We would also suggest the hotel to have a common fridge for patrons to leave their stuff in there.
