Wonderful Stay

fast and smooth check in. room is comfortable, with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. location is strategic as it is near to many tourist attractions like zoo, crocodile farm, mini malaysia etc along the road from toll to malacca city. about 15 minutes drive to city if traffic condition is smooth.
breakfast is fantastic though not many varieties. we enjoyed the ayam rendang and kids loved the waffles which are freshly made to order. they do refill for late comers around 9am ++.
it is a wonderful stay!

I arrived much earlier than anticipated and the friendly staff at the front desk did their best to get me checked in. The only room available then was facing the main road. The room was clean and everything was in working order. However, the noise from the traffic was intrusive.
Later on, the staff helped me switch my room to one facing the back and it was so much quieter. Wireless internet access worked well and was very fast.
The breakfast selection was reasonable and delicious.
Location is away from central Malacca but with easy access to and from the North South Highway. Recommended if you have a car to get around Malacca town.
Would stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Get rooms facing the back as it is less noisy than those facing the main road in front.

Location of the hotel is great as it was very near to the destination we were going. Shopping was not a problem as the mall was nearby and McD's also available for fastfood lovers. Going to town centre took a bit longer during peek hours due to traffic jam. Hotel rooms were clean.

This is the my third visit to this hotel. Generally I find this hotel meets the 3*star standard. The reception lady is kind and helpful. My only slight negative comment is the WiFi facility. It seems not stable and one has to keep keying in the password in order to connect to the network. The breakfast needs improvement also. The items available are less than my previous two visits. The room is clean and comfortable generally.

this is the third time i visited this hotel. in terms of price, the location of the hotel can be generally accepted although still a bit far from the city. the superior room is large and comfortable for two persons. the wifi available in the room is not convenient as the internet connection is not stable, breaking down easily. the breakfast provided needs improvement. compared with the last two times i visited this hotel, there seems not many items to eat. the quality of breakfast has to improve too.

Very nice location and for the most part atmosphere of place. But some of the hotel service could do more to maybe make the hotel stayers more welcomed. Since it is a small space where chances of bumping into a hotel staff is very likely, a smile on their faces would be nice. (comments more to staff that deals with customers)

Travelled to malacca from 28th April to 29th April with my girlfriend and two other friends.
I booked two superior rooms. The room was big and clean. The superior room has a queen size bed and a single bed. 3 people can stay in one superior room.
The breakfast was not bad. There was a buffet spread, consisting of nasi lemak rice, mee goreng, chicken rendang, potato wedges, sausages, baked beans, chinese porridge with the necessary condiments like salted egg, spring onion, chye sim. There was also a omelette and waffle counter. And a bread counter with toaster, together with the butter and jams. They also have cereals. Very comprehensive for family with kids.
The hotel also has a famous thai restaurant but we did not eat at the restaurant.
Nearby shopping malls to Kings' Hotel is Parkson and Juzco.
The only minus point about Kings' Hotel was that it is quite far from the tourist attractions like Jonker Walk and Dahtaran Pahlawan. Need about 15 minutes drive.
Otherwise the four of us are quite happy with the one night stay at Kings' Hotel.
