The stay is quite pleasant, although the room hasn't been made up when we checked in. However the housekeeping came and made up the room as soon as we called them.
Overall, the fixture & fitting is a bit old but functional. In-house entertainment is good with flat screen TV. Kitchenette is adequately equipped.
It's location is a plus point. Just across the road from a big shopping complex and within walking distance to tourist attraction.
Good place if you are travelling with family.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Bring umbrella & comfortable shoe/sandal. Forget driving if you are traveling during holiday season. It take much longer to drive & find parking space than to walk to major historical attraction which Malacca is famous for.

We had a beautiful stay there. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. Location is great too as most of things are within walking distance.
Nightlife Tip:
Got a lot of night life there. Just walking distance just 10 to 15 minutes.

Mahkota Hotel Melaka is good for medium class hotel. Mahkota Hotel Melaka supply with standard facilities for my business trip need, reasonable hotel rate and located in the strategic place to make me easy to move around the city. Restaurant with local and western food are available with value for money. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful with excellent hospitality.
