Excellent airconditioning. Card key defective.

Aircon improved tremendously from previous visit. Key ccard system has to be improved as it has a lot of opening problems.
A little dusty due to land reclaimation works. Otherwise clean comfortable stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Within walking distance from Makota shopping centre and visitor sites.

i've been to malacca countless of times, usually stayin at equatorial or holiday villa. this time we went in a large group therefore opted to stay in the premier 2 bedroom apartment here. we came in late n got to our rooms to find out the rooms were not cleaned and looked as if it was occupied by another guest. we thought we got to a wrong room. glasses stained, bed sheets undone, cups on the tables n toilets filled with towels on the floor. we were horrified n called reception. he didnt change our room but said housekeeping will come in 30 minutes. we waited in the hall for an hour till housekeeping came n cleaned. then there was also the awkward smell in the apartment and our key cards didnt work! i was particularly mad at the service. how could u provide a room thats not cleaned! the only plus point is that the location is good and the apartment was spacious.

The staff were courteous.
The service was below average.
Many facilities in the room did not work. Hot water in the master bed room... Toilet flush in the common.....
The electronic card system was not working 3 times within a stay of 48 hours.
The TV picture quality was very poor.

The hotel is great but we have been having problem with the key card, we went up and down at least 3time to have the key card change, that is the only thing that annoyed us, but overall the room is spacious location is good.

Hotel is located near to Mahkota Mall and walking distance from Palawan.

The room is quite spacious as the Hotel does rent them out for long term stay like a serviced apartment. What is disappointing is the condition of the room, it is aged with carpet peeling off the edge.

the first thing greeting us when we entered our room, was an overflowing toilet bowl. the saving grace was that the maintenance folks responded relatively quickly ~25 mins and had it fixed in 5 min.
furniture of the room is on the old side but ok to live in.
sleeping conditions were the clincher though. bed and pillows were clean and comfy. each would have 2 pillows.
the layout of the entire apartment is spacious and not cluttered. however, our room was near the road and noisy. having said that, there may be other rooms that will not face this problem.
carpark. we drove so the carpark was naturally a concern. i did see some guards patrolling around, but none appeared stationed at the entry and exit points. however, we found it relatively safe and we had no unhappy incident.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The 2 Bedroom Premier option is a relatively cheap and good option for a small travelling group of 4 persons (or a small family). It has sufficient space and with 2 toilets, it helps ease the morning "jam".
