Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

lovely hotel and service with a smile
Best features of the hotels

We reached the hotel around 2pm and was given a room immediately though the check in time is 3pm. We were greated with a warm welcome of hot teat. The room was small but cosy. It's like a open concept of the room and toilet together. It is very nostalgic to us. Never before we were treated like a VIP. The food is fantastic though a bit steep. The breakfast is good. No mass production.

It lives up to it's name of Majestic.
Rooms are not large but have been decorated true to the style of the hotel and could not be faulted.

We were impressed from the moment we arrived at the hotel untill we checked out. Many little touches make the guest feel that the Hotel cares about the comfort of it's guests and are prepared to go the extra mile. I would recommed this hotel to the fussiest travellers. The staff were very efficient and friendly. All in all an exceptional establishment.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
As a World Heritage listed city Malacca is a great place to visit.

i just the how the old building is converted into the reception and restaurant of the hotel. the rooms are beautiful and luxurious. my only criticism is that the breakfast is a bit too basic and the quality of food is good but can be better.

Comfortable with excellent service
Situation,comfort and excellent staff.
8.7
A beautiful restored/renovasted old colonial building on the river with excellent rooms and general comfort. Courteous, welcoming, helpful, smiling and efficient staff.
Beds very comfortable with rather unconventional open plan well equipped bathroom.
The complimentary town tour was excellent and most valuable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Try and do a town tour.
Eat in local restaurants-Nancy's Kitchen of Jonken St.
Walk around the town freely and soak up the atmosphere of 300 years of colonial history.

Lovely hotel - will come back again!
Great service, nice peranakan styled room with a super nice bath.
7.7
The hotel is mins away from Jonker Street.
Service is great and the pool is very clean.
The kids accidentally latched and locked out all of us from one of the 3 rooms that we booked. We gave the hotel staff a call and they brought up a locksmith to get it open in mins without charges or questions.
The room is nice and the room condition is as good as what you see from their website.
