Lovely hotel - will come back again!
Great service, nice peranakan styled room with a super nice bath.

The hotel is mins away from Jonker Street.
Service is great and the pool is very clean.
The kids accidentally latched and locked out all of us from one of the 3 rooms that we booked. We gave the hotel staff a call and they brought up a locksmith to get it open in mins without charges or questions.
The room is nice and the room condition is as good as what you see from their website.

Great hotel with excellent customer service
Away from the normal crowd, yet convenienty close to the river & chinatown

our stay was great albeit a few hiccups upon check-in, which i believe was caused by agoda, not being clear or correctly sending through our reservations to the hotel.
our overall stay was great, and the staff went out of the way to quickly find two rooms for us. the rooms were clean and room service was readily available.
however, breakfast buffet lacks choices, which could be due to the "boutique size" of the hotel. so maybe they should take away the breakfast buffet, but have a breakfast a-la-carte menu that has western/continental, chinese, malaysian & peranakan breakfast choices.
to conclude, the hotel and the staff were great...keep it up!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Should get whole day hop-on and off river cruise ticket at RM20. It is most useful to visit most of the interesting tourist sites without spending too much on taxis.

Our stay at Majestic was a great tonic for a hectic week. It had a nice and relaxing atomsphere throughout the hotel and it was clean and well decorated. Although we wanted to spend the weekend touring the main sites in Melaka, we changed our minds and spent most of the time lounging in the hotel room and the bar area downstairs. If you want a luxurious weekend gateway then the Majestic hotel is a ideal choice.

A very comfortable hotel partly in a historical building. Hotel beautifully decorated and designed. Staff very nice and helpfull. Great service.

Use the offer of a free guided tour of 2 hrs thru Mallaca.

The hotel was really lovely, the surroundings and ambience was really wonderful and it felt very grand. The ambience and service was great; brings you back to the colonial era, yet with modernity. The staff were really helpful and it was always service with a smile. The breakfast buffet was also very good. And although the amenities, like the swimming pool was small, it looked very inviting. I loved the turn-down service! They put all heart into making the stay very enjoyable. :)
Restaurant Tip:
There is a teeny stall on the right side of the road near the hotel selling Prawn Noodles that are just awesome.

Great hotel with gracious service

This was a gracious hotel; good location with access to boardwalk to see the monitor lizards and a short walk to historic interests. The pool was terrific after a day of sightseeing. Enjoyed the afternoon tea in the library. The breakfast also was fantastic with the only fresh squeezed orange juice in my whole stay in Asia. Really a great hotel with lovely service.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The history tour with Donovan was a definite highlight of our stay. Would definitely recommend taking that interesting tour!
