Great, spanking new hotel

This was my 2nd time stay at the hotel with my family. This time round I specifically invited my sister along so that she could see for herself how fine the hotel was. We booked 2 rooms, a superior twin(2 super single beds)and the other a deluxe king(1 king sized and 1 super single bed). All the 6 of us totally enjoyed our stay and my sister remarked that she would definitely book Marvelux whenever she visits Malacca. What I like most is the spacious yet homey environment. It really feels like a 2nd home. The rain shower was luxurious! You don't get that at any other hotel. The only thing that spoilt the day was when another guest of the hotel purposely popped out of his door and frowned when my 2 young kids, being kids, ran noisily along the corridor to reach our room. They were just expressing their joy as kids, no harm intended...It's obvious that he never had HAPPY kids or that he despised kids. Anyway, I chose to ignore such intolerant creatures. Life's too short to frown over such things. Marvelux, we'll sure be back next vacation!!
Shopping Tip:
Its a great experience to walk down Jonker Street on a weekend night to soak up the atmosphere. They sell practically everything there! But that does not mean that all the things there are cheap! You should first go and survey the same goods and their prices at, let's say the Dataran Pahlawan Shopping Mall. You would be surprised that the same things cost much less from the store in the air-conditioned mall than at the night market.

Wonderful hotel with clean & spacious family rooms

This is the third time I am staying here. Always enjoyed the family rooms which are clean, spacious and cosy. I do drive and it is convenioently located to all the attractions in Melaka. Looks liken the new cafe has also opened within the hotel itself. Breakfast is adequate.

Lovely hotel , good location & great service

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel.Overall,we were very satified with the great service provice by the hotel. I will definely recommend this hotel to my friend and relatives.
The location is good. It take only 5 mins to drive Jonker Walk or Makhota Parade.
The family suite room was spacious, comfortable king size bed & big private balcony.

Great Location & good service
It was a lovely hotel. Hotel clean with modern design. If I have chance to visit Melacca, my first choice will be this hotel and 1 night stay was not enough.

Othen then is new, the hotel has no other selling point. There is no bar fridge inside the room, no room service in this hotel. I do not think that I will come back again

Clean and confortable. We could get taxi at all. We have to walk to main road to get taxi, luckily a good stranger pick us up to the town... Remind: wake up early for your breakfast, we went down to restaurant about 1030, all finished and close!
