Far away from city centre but quiet

Resort is located far away form the city centre but just a short drive away from the mail toll road. However it is to be noted that there are no signs after the toll road!!!! it took us nearly half an hour to find the place.
Room wise, it is certainly not built with logs - despite the appearance. It looks more like plactics/cenent/bricks covered with logs on the outside. No sound-proofing meaning your neighbours/outside people can hear you right through your conversations.
Restaurants are ok, but you would really need to drive all the way to the city for some good meals (that's why you visit Malacca!!!). Parking is bad - you have to park by the road due to the limited car park space in the hotel, but there are attentive security staffs.
Travel tip:
I would recommend the Malacca chicken rice ball to everyone who visits Malacca. Try all the stalls and you will fall in love with all.

Good hotel environment but far from malacca town

Hotel is easily accessible by the highway, however it is 30mins drive into malacca town famous for its food. Roads to the rooms are via buggy and the pavements are stones, making it a very choppy ride, not to mention painful if you wear flip flops. Sound proofing in rooms are not good, the rooms are 4 to 1 chalet, so anyone walking up the stairs can be heard loudly.
Buffett spread is ok, but there's a lack of tables and there are flies everywhere, possibly due to the tourist attraction beside the hotel. If your main purpose is to go malacca town, skip this hotel. If you are trying to get away from the city like we did then it is ok.

Hotel is 30mins drive into malacca town famous for its food. Unless you don't mind some fast foods further down the road. Paths to the rooms are via buggy and you can always call for pickup, making it convenient. Sound proofing in rooms are not good, the rooms are 4 to 1 chalet, so if you are staying beside a family then it could get rowdy.
Buffett spread is ok, but why it isn't held by the poolside cafe is anyone's guest. If your main purpose is to visit malacca town, skip this hotel due to the location and food options. If you are just trying to get away from the city life like us then it is good environment for relaxing.

Lots of potential but room for improvement

This hotel has great facilities but there are a few things that let it down. The pool looked great and the general up keep of the resort is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful. However I would urge everyone to get a room on the upper floors of the cabins as there is no sound insulation and it is tiring listening to thumping footsteps.
Staff need to be better trained - although they are always there with a big smile you feel as if it is their first day. This is especially the case in the restaurants. The breakfast is disappointing - although there is a great spread the quality is lacking and there is an abundance of flies swarmming around.
This resort would suit a family with small children.

Lovely hotel but very out of the way

One of the most beautiful resort we have ever been to. The experience was very special as the room were made of wooden logs. The swimming pool is magnificent. Breakfast is nice too.
The only concern is that it is extremely out of the way and a very long drive to town. Quite a hassle especially when traffic is very heavy. Other than that, this resort is superb.

Great experience. Never thought that Melaka has such a concept resort. But the parking lots at lobby front are limited, at nite need to park at the main entrance. Quite far and dark to walk to lobby, especially if travel alone.
