the service and facilities in room need to improve
the breakfast was awesome...

The first thing, the facilities in room need to be make sure in good condition. Because, the bath tab was stucked water when we take shower and the the TV channel was not clear at the first stage.The techinition did the repair with wearing shoe inside the bath room. I think is not good manner when they did like this during the guest staying inside. The leave with shoe print and dirty. I have to call back the cleaner to clean all this things.

Lovely hotel and good service

When I turn on the tap and shower head, the water is yellowish. Furthermore, the water running out from the shower head is so little that I took more than half an hour to complete my bath. The hotel standard is not worth the price I paid for, should have chosen Equatorial Hotel which is near to the town.

Not a 5 star hotel, luxury travelers beware! Old, musty accommodations, hot water takes ages to snail up to the higher levels. Lots of empty smiles, probably would have had a better experience for less at one of the many small establishments in town.
Shopping Tip:
cheap food nearby, decent barber across the street.

Not bad, but a little run down.

Although not inconvenient, it is a little far from the historic city attractions. Return shuttle pickup never showed or perhaps the pickup location was unclear. The view was great, but the facilities are a bit run down for being "one of the best hotels in town" and the pool was not so impressive. The buffet breakfast very tasty with many choices and the staff were extremely helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure you know where the return shuttle bus pickup location is, or catch a tricycle taxi back to the hotel.

Nice hotel in a central position

Took a trip for a timeout to enjoy the pubs and markets and this hotel was at the right position to take a short walk to all the interestiong places.Enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was excellent.

old but clean & neat

We enjoy our stay very much despite it was just for a day. The room size is reasonably comfortable,old but clean & neat. Nice, warm & friendly staff, a trademark of Malaysian hospitality. Located in the heart of the town, restaurants & foodstalls are within walking distance from 30m onwards mainly Chinese and Indian's mamak shops. Main street of Melaka Raya is within walking distance of 100-400m where you can find good bargains for clothings, textiles, shoes & slippers, consumables at local price as compared to tourist areas like Jonker Street, etc.
Travel tip:
Tourist to Malacca should try the Portugese food at the Malacca Portuguese settlement at Ujong Pasir, at the fringes of coastal city of Malacca.

will prefer for a second stay. Good and friendly service, safe. Although is a litter bit far a way from place of interest, but overall every thing is fine and nice. There is plenty of car park space for room guest. Facilities which provide is enough complete with a business purpose stay.
