Good location with affordable price

Generally is good and up to expectation, it is cheap and near to Jonker Walk and tourist attraction spot. Reception uncle is kinda cool but very polite.
Drawback are rooms are very dusty, and got some sands on bed, and some cement smell also. I think it is due to they are currently having rennovation in the hotel, and I think that they need to improve on this area. It is very frustrated especially when you back from outside with hot and sunny day.
Water outflow is not very good especially when you shower, will happen small flood inside the bathroom.

The hotel service can consider moderate. The guy service us on the first day was very slow and missed out the breakfast voucher. On the second day when we checked with another guy in the service counter. He then gave us the breakfast voucher. The hotel room phone and tape for room 0233 was fautly. The Receptionist said they cant do anything. Unless we want to change the room the second day when there is room available. But the room cleaner service was very good. She was veri efficient when we requested for her service. The lady that serve us on the last day was also excellent. She booked a taxi for us upon checkup and expedited the check out. Overall the location and the stay is pleasant

Value for money. Recommend if you just need a simple place to stay. Location is accessible to the shopping centre and jonker street
Nightlife Tip:
Shop on the jonker street open at night from friday to Sunday. Can chill out at Geographical Cafe near the hotel.

Nice hotel but pretty noisy

Great location.Just walking distance to the famous Jonker Street. Easy access to any delicious food. However, you can hear noises clearly from the room itself. Especially in the morning when most people passing through the corridor. It was pretty noisy and quite disturbing. Hope the management would do something to reduce the noise or sound proof.

Unique Hotel with a convenient location

The hotel is converted from one of the old houses. Unique style as the owner is trying to preserve its heritage. It is also conveniently located near Jonker Street. The hotel is currently undergoing some renovation to upgrade its facilities. Hope to see more with the completion of the upgrading.
Restaurant Tip:
Very near to Jonker 88 Durian Chendol and Nancy's Restaurant.

Great location but require more upgrading

Baba house is a nice and cosy place for a short stay. Although, the room felt old and rundown, but it was cosy and Baba style. You get a feel of how it is like staying in the olden days. Hotel is doing some renovation hence the place feels pretty dusty.
During our stay, we encounter electricity and water problem. There was a problem with the contact card for electricity and it happened a couple of time. We were in the room at night and suddenly the electricity went out. We had to pull out the contact card and put it back a few times before the power came back. On our second night, we didn't realise that there was a problem with the water pipe and I headed for the shower. The water supply was very slow and almost had no water. We called the reception to find out about the problem. But it was resolved about half an hour later. Next morning, my hubby was bathing half way when the water problem occurred again.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I would still go back there again. Hopefully, by then Baba house have completed their renovations and the place would not be so dusty. Oh, their breakfast was fantastic!

Overall is great stay over there, Although the room was small without any window, but it was clean and comfortable. Location was very near to Jonker Street which was only a few minutes walking distance.They provide free parking bays too.
