It is the old Holiday Inn, restaurant good, view facing the South China Sea excellent (and you can hear the waves when you open the glass doors) from the Sea Side Rooms in the hotel which we had, surrounding garden in superb condition
Generally, a little bit too laid back compared with mainland cities but that is typical Miri really so do not expect perfection, WIFI a disappointment and we did not really get any help in this matter, porters excellent, check-in women courteous and helpful, clean
This is tricky insofar as we lived in Miri in 1992 and 1993 so we have an attachmnent to the place and to some extent to the hotel as we used to dine there occasionally in 1993. This hotel opened in Jan 1993 (I think) as the Holiday Inn. It has been well built and generally well maintained. Room doors/entry a little tired as is the shower over the bath but at the price not enough to warrant any serious issues. Surrounds beautiful. Location a bit out of town and certainly not within walking distance of town so this should be remembered by prospective guests. We would stay there again. Just remember this is in Miri , Oil Town and when this hotel opened it was THE best hotel in Miri bar none, and it certainly remains in a good "rated" position in this respect.
Restaurant Tip : An easy one: Mr Khan's Bilal Restaurants in either Lutong or Miri (opposite the Mega Hotel). Can Indian food get any better than this for the price. I doubt it. And no I am not getting any commission for saying this!! Just be aware that many guets eat with their fingers.

It is a gorgeous hotel, from the minute you walk through the lobby, you are absolutely captured. it is close to the beach, lovely pool area, good selection in the menu caters for all tastes, close to the city and the airport. very polite staff. room service was good.
Internet connection seemed to not work 90% of the time. house cleaning could have been better. reception could have been more crisp in thier service.
ParkCity Everly was a lovely experience. The views are just amazing from the Hillview or the Seaview. fitness and swimming areas are good. the food was superb. with such a wide variety in the menu, and breakfast buffet. just the internet was really frustrating coz it just wudnt work. but over all 8/10
Restaurant Tip : If you need a different taste in food or somewhere to knock back a fews beers there are a couple of bars and restaurants which a 5 minute walk away.

on the seaside. neet and clean. staff very friendly.
The resturant service needs an improvement specially in the menue.
I stayed in the hotel for three nights with my family. It is located on the beach. Beachview rooms are the best. Staff is very friendly. As my son is studying in Curtin Uni so we shall be travelling more often to Miri and our prefered choice would this hotel only

Service at reception a little terse and unsmiling
Our stay was a one night in (late) and out (early), in which we really only saw the cavernous lobby and heard the house band performing the obligatory 80s easy listening hits. We did however get a glimpse of the sea view in the morning, from a large and comfortable room. This is a business style hotel about 3-4km from the centre and by the sea. The service could be a little crisper, but it was okay.
