Pleasant stay and well run

Quiet, peaceful surrounds. Overall, a pleasant and restful stay - need to lower expectations given the price. Suitable for those who wants a room for the night, has own transport. An easy 15 mins drive to Muar town for mouth-watering otak-otak and fried oyster omellete. Check out the seafood at the Straits View Restaurant at Parit Jawa which is about 30-40 mins drives away but well worth it.

Hard to find location & not worth the money

First, we lost our way to the hotel because it is not in the GPS. The place is so hidden away and quite far from Muar town. The room is so average that i would not want to call this as a hotel. Full of mosquitoes at night. my little baby was bitten by the mosquitoes all over his body. Poor baby. The toilet was dirty. They didnt wash it properly especially the toilet bowl. I do not want to explain here because it was so disgusting i went to get a bottle of Clorox bleach and i washed the toilet bowl and floor by myself! They did not provide the toilet floor mat to place outside the bathroom and it was slippery when we stepped out from the bathroom with wet feet( no carpet, they only have tiles room). So i bought the floor mat too since my daughter almost slipped! I wont complain much if the price for the room fit the condition. But we are all disappointed! Seriously, very expensive with the type of homestay that u are offering with lack of facilities and so far away from town. This is definitely not a 'Resort' to me. at night i could not sleep because i could hear dogs bark. That really bother my baby and I. For the price i will never go there again. Nothing impressed us. Hate the bathroom, really. Could not stand the bathroom door as well. The door is printed with Chinese calligraphy. The interior is so confusing and very cheapskate. Spoil our holiday mood.

Nice simple enclave on the outskirt of Muar
Located on the outskirt and yet food street reachable by car

1) hotel staffs were friendly and can make adjustments to changes like additional beds and upgrade of rooms easily.
2) bath room a bit small.
3) the parking area should be clear of the debris of the construction.
4) the riverside should be clear of the rubbish.
5) for this room rate (without breakfast), i am better off staying near jonker street etc in melaka (with breakfast). so i do not think the hotel rate is value for money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
1) Otah making household visit is very interesting.

The clean and tidy kampong style hotel
The room is very clean and equip with hot shower and air-condition.

It's location is near the Muar second bridge and is easy to locate if we use this said second bridge.We had our dinner at medan ikan bakar Sabak Awor which is just couple of minutes drive from this resort.For those who like fishing this resort is located along the Muar river, what you have to do is to bring your fishing equipment.
If you need a low cost hotel room which is very clean, please come to this resort.
