Providing 108 Malaysian styled wooden chalets and bungalows, as well as a camp site, the hotel overlooks the Tembeling and Tahan Rivers. Located in the jungles of the Taman Negara National Park, the Mutiara Taman Negara Hotel is just a five minutes drive from Kuala Tahan, and three hours from Kuala Lumpur. The four-star hotel provides guests with an endless amount of activities such as swimming in Lata Berkoh, boat rides, cave exploration, jungle treks, and visiting the night market of the local settlements. Great bungalow resort surrounded by a 200 millions old rainforest which you can enter through the hotel garden. Nearby the Canopy walk.
Good excursions to do, and very nice boatride
over the rivers. Did a nice swim near the waterfall. Staff friendly and good service. Saw some monkeys. A very nice place to visit.
Great bungalow, wonderful old nature, good food.
In the restaurant at night there were many flies

I would advise most travelers to take a hotel at the other side of the river, in Kampung Kuala Tahan. There is a very cheap ferry to cross the river to the jungle trail.
- Travel tip : One day is enough for the Taman Negara. You can take the train from the North or from Kuala Lumpur tot Kuala Lipis, from there with the taxi to the boat
