The Malaysian-style 258-room resort is situated on 73 acres of jungle reserve that faces a beach at the north end of Pangkor Island. The Pangkor Island Beach Resort is about one mile off the west of Peninsular Malaysia. Hornbill Restaurant
The restaurant is an informal, open-air dining area, which overlooks the swimming pool and secluded beach front. Offerings from à la carte and snack menus include a wide range of local and international dishes. For breakfast there is an international and continental buffet on offer. Pacific Terrace Restaurant
With a seating capacity of 80, the Pacific Terrace Restaurant offers a relaxed restaurant environment facing the Pacific Wing pool. Its ambience and decor bring out its casual image for guests to dine, offering a choice of fresh seafood, Western cuisine and Chef's specials on the Island. Weather permitting, dining under the stars is available by the deck area. Located on the ground floor facing the Pacific Wing pool.

Our family of four recently stayed at the Pangkor Island Beach Resort for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed in the Ocean Wing and were very happy with our seaview room which had a little balcony. One word of warning - there was a notice on the door advising us to keep the balcony locked as monkeys could enter. We didn't take this warning seriously enough and forgot to lock the door one morning, coming back in the afternoon to find the room totally trashed!
We found the hotel staff to be very friendly especially with the kids and the setting was gorgeous. The only drawback was the food. It wasn't fantastic and was very expensive as were the drinks. Overall though we had a great time and would definitely go there again.

It was a great location with great time of the year .. actually you can go anytime because we went during the raining season but we had no rain at all . you can rent anything you want but the price kind of high compare to other areas like motorcycle cost 30RM /hour .. while in downtown pangkor you can rent it for 30RM / day but be careful they might not let you inside the resourt when you rent from the outside .. you need to get permission from the front desk as they are very nice and they will try to help you ..
you need to go to the Lobby to get internet if you bring your lap top;however, they have business office with a printer. Rooms are very clean and organized but little old and all the rooms are facing the ocean and the sunset.

No water in the washroom. Rental equipment is very costly.
