Uncle Lim's
This beautifully designed restaurant is built atop a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea. Named after its Chef, Uncle Lim, who has been with the Resort since its inception, the speciality of this restaurant is Nyonya and Hockchew Chinese style home cooking. All dishes are inspired by the unique products available locally and made to each guest's individual tastes and requirements. A unique experience for those who enjoy the exotic flavours of the east.

Gorgeous rooms and design. The places is just stunning. The prisine rainforest on the same small island as a gorgeous beach is almost too much to believe. Unfortunately, and by no fault of the resort, trash washes up on the beach. They do as much as they can to deal with it, but it is a challenge - it is, after all, an enormous shipping lane. As long as you go to the beach at 2pm or later - the trash is pretty much gone.
The prices for food, especially dinner, are simply outrageous. More than many of the world's top restaurants in the most expensive cities. They get you because you are trapped, but they really take advantage of their guests in that regard. The price of dinner was so sky high that I am truly reluctant to recommend the place.
Finally, though adequate, for what they are, the sea villas could benefit from a bit more privacy. Overall, the place is fantastically beautiful with much to offer. Lots of couples but also lots of families makes it an interesting and pleasant blend of people. The service is above and beyond top notch. The beach is stunning. The rainforest is stunning. The rooms and amenities are stunning. The food is good and breakfast, lunch and drinks, though expensive, are kind of the prices you would expect. Dinner on the other hand is preposterous and they need to change those prices. Recommended as long as you are willing to shell out a fortune for food and not think about it.

Great service, sincere smiles, nice villas Pangkor Laut Resort truly is the best resort we’ve ever stayed in. From the minute we arrived at the airport, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Pure relaxation!
Fortunately we got an upgrade to a spa villa: beautiful, peaceful, romantic. Especially the big bath tub with superb view over the sea. Unlike other resorts, Pangkor Laut Resort even looks better in reality than in photos.

Emerald Bay beach! Everything about the beach is wonderful ... the natural setting and the service team.
Motorbike and van NOISE.
Change those vehicles to electric power and it would again be the best resort in the world!
