The family enjoyed the holiday especially our children.The only comment is the hotel should changed the bar soap because its smelly and old.We complained about it but the staff just don't bother.A budget hotel bar soap is better.

Lovely and nice environment

The room is very big and comfortable. The duty manager is responsive to my request. (Open safety box which previous tenant locked it) I love the swimming pool a lot which i spent few hours a day on it. I am strongly recommend this hotel to people who never been here before.

It was an enjoyable stay. Good location, good service and hotel Waddell maintained. Many eateries within walking distance and hotel is close to the Taman Negara National Park and other parks worth a visit.

We stayed in this hotel 17 years ago and we had same category of room and was really big. Our experience then was excellent which encouraged us to repeat it, but wrong choice. The lobby is so gloomy. Our room was small,and when we asked if they can give us another bigger one, the answer was we don't have any bigger! very old furniture, bathroom was very old, bathtub with hair (not clean), shower is rusty.all materials used starting from towels to shampoo are cheap quality. We asked for extra towels and they said we give you extra only if you give us the ones we put for you!.We asked for a bucket of ice and requested us to pay 7 ringgits! it is the first hotel that asks money for ice, unless it should be rated two stars. Wi fi is very slow and mostly not working. Breakfast was terrible, tasteless, many options but very poor quality. wherever you go in the hotel, you find instructions with quotes as "strictly disallow", strictly don't do this, as if we are in a military camp. At the pool, we asked for 4 towels and the employee said oh you have one room then only two towels are allowed and this is the manager instructions, we talked to her and again she insisted that we can't take more than 2, I can't understand what is their problem with the towels as long the number of the taken towels are registered. Location is a bit far from everything except the night market. All in all, it is a bad hotel and my rating is two stars.
My advice to the owner is to fire the management and refurbish all the hotel.
Travel tip:
Don't reserve it and fall for the pool photos, yes the photos are nice but the treatment you get is so disappointing.

Great Hotel near to Hark Rock
I like the room,breakfast choices,reception friendly

friendly receptionist and bellman. The breakfast is great as there are a lot of choices to choose from. The swimming pool is huge and clean. The room is very clean as It has already renovated..
Nightlife Tip:
Go to Hark Rock Hotel for some nightlife..there are cheap restaurant just in front of the hotel..chicken chop only cost about rm 10

Good location at Feringghi
Nice beach front hotel which is located next to Hard Rock Hotel

This is an old hotel at Feringghi are with a nice beach front. The room was ok and not superb compared to the price paid. The advantage of thishotel is the location and not the hotel itself.
