Great location and service

Although it is only one night stay but it is quite pleasant.However I would expect for the price that I paid breakfast would be included.One two main lift is available while one is under repair.Although service lifts are available but they are smelly.Staff are courteous.

Rooms are big but not the best location

The hotel is great but it is at the end of Batu Ferringhi so you need to walk a fair way to the markets and food. The rooms were big only problem was one of the lifts were down for maintenace which ment you had to wait a while for a lift and no free wifi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to the Tropical Spice Garden just down the road from the Bayview Resort it is beautiful and informative. You can also do a cooking course here which is lots of fun!

Relaxing retreat with spacious bed and bath rooms

At the far end of Batu Ferringhi so quiet and relaxed. Pleasant low key pool area with lots of deck chairs by the pool and throughout the garden so can enjoy the shade with a book. Cheeky snd cheerful Ricky provides excellent foot massages.
Very helpful reception staff assist with any query. Older hotel with very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Restaurants never seemed to be busy so don't know where everyone ate.
Easy, frequent 101 local bus access to rest of Batu Ferringhi (10 minutes away with a walk back through the night markets. Georgetown via 101 bus (1 hour) meandering along coastline.
Great low key, older style resort to relax in.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Spice Gardens are a 10 minute 101 bus ride away which has an excellent restaurant. Best chicken massaman curry and lime, ginger drink. Excellent walking through the gardens and then relaxing on deck of restaurant.

Tired and old hotel but nice staff

Don't look at their pictures because they are deceiving. This hotel is old and tired and in serious need of a renovation. We stayed for four days and never went swimming because the ocean water was filthy and the pool was not inviting. We had the breakfast the first morning for twenty US dollars a couple and it was way overpriced because it was not very good and limited. The next day we decided to eat across the street for five dollars and it was better. I did order a hamburger for dinner one night and it wasn't bad. We took the public bus in front of the hotel everyday and enjoyed Georgetown. If you are determined to stay in this area then I would recommend the Hard Rock next door and pay the extra money but you are still getting the same old dirty ocean water.

it has realy great location and big rooms and beds the service is excellant the room view was realy nice and it has very good swimming pool I realy enjoy my staying there and the kids spent great time there and they come back again and by the way the serve very good breakfast
