malaysian hotel
Breakfast was awesome great variety of different foods available.

staff very friendly and helpful and even helped me print out some documents i needed urgently.
good location but at the end of the beach strip so u would have to walk or get taxi to the main part of batu ferrenghi. there may have been a shuttle bus provided but not sure. a few shops opposite hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Please note that I hired a car as I wanted to travel to the west of the island. However it was not a coast road but a hilly switchback road and it was not a great viewing opportunity.

Set up at the beach of the beautiful island

Me and my husband wanted a respite from work and planned this Pennag island tour for 4 days and choose Bayview resort at Batu Firanghhi.
It was simply lovely to sit , relax and drink on the beach lawn on the deck chairs, seeing the sunset nad playing the water sports.
Set up at a lovely location, were sumptuous good seafood is right at the corner with the Night shopping at Batu Firanghhi is there too.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must see the Butterfly farm, Spice garden , Pennag Hill and the Night shopping market at Batu Firanghhi.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

Lovely hotel with price reasonable but the room I book is Deluxe Side Seaview not really side seaview, can only view rooftop of houses, feel a little bit disappointed. But any how happy holiday.

Good location with large rooms
Large airy hotel with tropical, retro feel to it.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. Good for couples. Water off Batu Ferringhi is no longer that clean but the sand on the beach is still ok. There were ants in the room on the first 2 nights we were there..quite irritating.
The main lifts are rather old and slow.
Friendly service.
Ok for a short holiday.

Lovely resort - will be back soon!

This is the last hotel heading out of town and that to me was a plus as it's away from the slightly manic town centre. Has a deli, laundry and restuarant across the road and loads of restuarants within walking distance. The hotel itself is lovely, a little older than some but that made it better as the rooms were very spacious. We had a family room with a huge kingsize bed and two twin beds in a separate room which is great for familys. Nice outdoor area right on the beach with lots of water sports and a large pool. My husband had a massage at beach on the property and thought it was very good, I ate with the kids around the pool and the food was very nice and reasoanbly priced. The breakfast was busy but lots of variety. We all enjoyed this hotel very much and would recommend to all.
Restaurant Tip:
Fantasy Ribs a short walk down the road with great service and best food.

Really nice hotel on the beach

The rooms were very spacious with a nice fruit basket on arrival. Its at the end of the beach but that isnt a problem as every thing is within walking distance. Huge pool and surrounding garden area right next to the beach. Only downside I would say was the breakfast, which was terrible.

Check out Hard Rock Hotel next door for a sundowner

good, relax and nice!!
but its was better if have a mini market for children to buy
some snack, ice cream, buisket or something can eat.
at night time its was feel some quiet isolution, feel no safety if we back late.

Fantastic Hotel
Clean rooms, lovely pool, right on the beach!

I had my doubts about this hotel due to the fantastic prices, but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the swim up bar in the pool was a delight.
A minor problem we had was on arrival we were put on the 10th Floor in smoking rooms which smelt moldy - however as soon as we let the front desk know they moved us straight away to a new room on the 8th Floor and we had no more problems!
We organised all our tours through the hotel and had a really great time - Lawrence is the best tour guide!
The location is great cause its only a few minutes taxi ride from the night markets.
I will definately be staying there again!!
Restaurant Tip:
Had a great time at the Hard Rock Cafe, then band that plays there towards the end of the night were amazing.
Try longbeach for some really delicious and really cheap hawker food - I wish I had found it on my first night instead of my last!

we got upgraded to sea view. clean room and polite staff.
a pity our option didn't come with complimentary breakfast.
the breakfast if we were to purchase separately, was rather pricey.
