Old hotel with good service

undoubtedly, servis is the main point here and has no negatives. breakfast sometimes is not fresh like a week old croissants and other bakeries. not so many breakfast choices.
rooms have old furniture. tv channels are not many. some cockroaches were seen in the room.
we stayed in a family room. beach is dirty and one of our children were stung by a jellyfish during swimming in the sea. however, personnel was very professional in helping us to overcome this issue.
no free internet in the room. hotel is quite far from georgetown. each night there is a night market nearby where you can buy souvenirs etc.

Nice hotel that has seen better days.Furniture is old, beach is dirty. Breakfast is not as good as one can expect from 4 star hotel. The main advantage is their service understanding.

Rooms are great with good view of the sea
Pool was great. 1st hotel i stayed having a 4 meters deep at one end of the pool

parking was spacious, they even allowed us to park underneath the hotel when we returned late one night. lobby is nice and spacious, a quiet place to relax and unwind. kids enjoyed the pool table too. rooms are comfortable and big. breakfast was ok, but we eat out a lot. pool was the best with a 4 meter deep end. big garden area to relax in front of the beach with plenty of beach activities.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Explore Penang: the food of course. War Museum at Batu Maung. Bukit Bendera tram ride. Little India etc.

Very nice place to bring syoung children. Located near the beach and spacious hotel rooms to accomodate the whole of my family. The food is great the location is great with nice scenery during sunset. My family and I enjoyed the stay.

It was the best 3days-2nights stay for our family. We spent a lot of time at the great pool, and food during breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely recommend to friends and families !

Bad Location, Poor Service

The location of the hotel is far from City and from any restaurants. Booked this hotel for the fact that it would be close to the beach, however this beach is pretty murky. Arrived early (made a request prior also for earlier check-in), the front desk staff was very kind, however there needs to be more training to make customers feel welcome. Was asked to wait for almost 2 hours, no effort from the front desk to serve us drink (even a simple glass of water), I had to constant went to the front desk to check the status.
The buffet breakfast is way over-priced and it is definitely not worth it. It seems like the hotel is riding on the fact that it is a far-off location, hence there's only over-priced buffer breakfast on the menu.
Rarely you see hotel charges for Wi-Fi, thats another minus-point.

typically during super peak season it is expensive, however, it is worthwhile since the room is very very clean. Even the toilet is kept nicely.. With the nice view from room i was happy.
Nightlife Tip:
Good nightlife as HardRock is just around the corner
