Superb, best located, very friendly, a bit noisy
nice room, service is great, best shower ever!

we stayed four nights over chinese new year and were very happy with this place. most scenicc places in old georgetown are within walking distance, take a taxi right in front of the main lobby for a wider tour.
the chinese new year buffet dinner in the revolving restaurant was wonderful. we also enjoyed the lion dance performance in the lobby.
the hotel is more than worth its price. book room with breakfast, if available - single breakfast is ringit per person, which is too much,
there was some disco base hammering noise until about 1 am, however due to our long walks and the wonderful beds, we slept well.

Rude reception staff .... made to feel as if I was there to serve them, rather than the other way round. Hotel amenities/services not worth the money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Well-located in Georgetown .... easy to walk to key locations.

good hotel with big rooms
spacious room,toilet,international buffet breakfast

located on penang island, bayview is easily found on near the main town of penang.
this hotel has good rooms, comes with international buffet breakfast. and a very spacious toilet.
tv is about small and it's a crt tv.
hotel seems abit old.
the levels are in a maze, quite difficult to get to your room.
Nightlife Tip:
there is a pub right down at the hotel. Seems quite happening

Nice Place in Georgetown!
Great location, nice rooms, refreshing pool

this was a good choice for georgetown. the pool was great after a day of walking around. the jacuzzi is nice too! the revolving restaurant at the top of the hotel was cool, the food was just ok though. there are some good hawker stalls with lots of choices and music very nearby. overall nice place, no complaints!
Restaurant Tip:
Passage through India restaurant is close to the Bayview. Great place to get delicious Indian food!

great location, right beside nightspots. clean rooms, excellant staff. pleasantly surprised by room size. only setback was weak wireless signal, but it is a trivial complaint.
Restaurant Tip:
be sure to check out gurney drive hawker centre... a hotel taxi cost abt rm15 one way and there is a wealth of food stores to satisfy all kinds of appetites.

Great Location & spacious room
It has good location and can just walk around George town for foods

it's a Weedend for me and my wife. Penang has so much to offer as it has rich Colonial history and Chinese nyonya and BaBa heritage. Penang has fantastic street foods.
