Good Location
Nice view from "Revolving" Restaurant
4.3
general the hotel at very good location, but the food is normal and pricy compare with eastern & oriental hotel just across the street, we loved to have our tea or dinner at e&o.
the good thing is lot of local food, pubs & bistro around the location/hotel.
the cons: room fixtures are old, and bathroom is not clean and a bit blockage as well.
Restaurant Tip:
Eastern & Oriental Hotel served good food and reasonable

typical hotel but with great service
Early checked in. Friendly staff. Easy Access
7.7
First stay in Bayview. Easy to find. I like how we can checked in early before 2pm as stated. Upgraded my room to Superior. Value for money. Cons: their carpark is difficult to locate. Went around twice but unable to see it. Have to stop at the receptionist to ask for direction.
so far so good.

Value for money but nothing out of the ordinary
7.3
Bayview Hotel Georgetown scores mainly because of its great location. It is just a few minutes walk away from the Blue Mansion, St George's, Little India, Khoo Khongsi and all the other areas that are a must visit in Georgetown.
Also, the friendly and well informed tour desk at the hotel will help you plan out how to get to place A from place B.
The room as such is very basic. It's neat, clean and rather small.
Wifi isn't free, but at 30 RM for 24 hours, it's pretty cheap.
All in all, I would recommend this hotel for someone who's passing through Penang for a day or two and wants to visit the cultural area of Georgetown.

lovely, very pleasant hotel and staff
beautiful lobby, good sized rooms and great location
9.7
In retrospect I would have rather stayed at the Bayview Beach hotel as the beach is quite far away and incredibly beautiful. However, non-the-less this was a very reasonably priced hotel for the size, location, cleanliness and service. I have stayed at many Malaysian hotels and found this to be rather good value for money.

i spent two nights at this hotel in georgetown . i would have stayed more nights at this place ,but the rate went up when i checked agoda to add more days. it's situated in a good location near the coast and downtown. the room was clean and tidy. the service was acceptable. the rates was reasonable . overall , compare to a similar rank hotel near this one, this hotel is much better.
