A little luxury in a great location

Great hotel in a great location, close to good food at Red Garden and shops on main street.
Just across the road from the historic Eastern and Oriental Hotel, which serves a very delicious, affordable English high tea. The service staff at the door were always friendly and helpful. It was great to see the hotel involve itself in Earth Hour and a enjoyed a cool drink in the lobby by candlelight. . We enjoyed or short stay at this fantastic hotel.

Doesnt deserve a four star

Check in was smooth. Bellman service was good. The room was of acceptable size. The bad points are tht the beds are not comfortable, the bedsheets are too old, too thin for a 4star standard n had stains. There were ants in my room. Bathtub was dirty and sinked was clogged. Maintenance personnel came right away when we called him to fix it, which is a plus point. There was no control on the swimming pool area cleanliness by d hotel staff although they were present there. The breakfast was terrible. Limited choice of food n tasted terrible. The only thing I liked bout this hotel is their croissant. They served cordials and not juices. Sambal looked uncooked.

Budget hotel new renovation
The view overlooking Gerogetown are superb.

It's our third stay in the hotel. Although they give us smaller and smaller room, it's compensated by the improve room quality and nice view.
