Hotel is located near enough to the city centre but not right in the middle of the traffic jams. Great place to stay if you want to be in the city and still be able to drive to other parts of the island or mainland quickly.
Lots of restaurants around the hotel especially at night. The best clubbing area is right behind.
Restaurant Tip:
The buffet lunch at E&O hotel across the road from Bayview is fantastic. The spread is fairly large but the best part is evething tastes really good.

We got early check-in and free upgrade to deluxe room. The hotel was clean, the room was big, we got sea view. A little bit disappointed for the cigarette smell inside the room. Breakfast was standard, but I love the apple pie. For long stay, better find breakfast outside since the was not much menu variation. A lot of good food nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Must ride the new train to Penang Hill. Find a place on first row, its really exciting..

The hotel staff place me on the highest level of the building and free upgrade all our rooms. We request for extra bed and it had been done very fast and we are very please to stay here.

There are bar beside the hotel, less than 100m

I stayed at this hotel for one night only. Overall the hotel is comfortable the buffet breakfast is satisfactory. The only negative is the bath tub and wash basin whereby the waters not flowing down quickly enaough. Other than that, the aircond is not cold enough. Hotel is value for money. We can get good food and a lot of nightclubs at Penang Road (just around 5 minutes walk).
