Average quality hotel with good service
friendly reception and concierge staff

reasonably good hotel for the price paid.food was not always hot and waiting staff were not very fluent in english despite many english people staying. room conditions were only average and a little sparsely furnished. cleanliness was good. overall, i enjoyed my stay and would probably stay there again.

Room is clean and comfortable. Convenient to walk to the food court at night and there are quite a number of hotels nearby too. Easy to move around as it's only 5 minutes drive to Gurney Drive. Overall, this is a good hotel for couple, family business travelers.

The charges for internet is exorbitant at RM30 per day and in a state where the government is pushing for FREE WiFi connectivity. Room came with a nice flatscreen but none of the channel is clear enough to watch. Apart from that, the hotel provides a nice and clean environment to rest and relax. Located in Upper Penang Road where food and drinks are plenty and easily accessible. Staff are friendly and very approachable. Multi storey parking available for free for hotel guests is a plus point.

Great location. Big room. Walking distance to hawker food. 15mins to major shopping malls. There are some foods along the street. Not a bad hotel for family. Booked a day tour with travel agent in the hotel. Enjoyable trip.

Above our expectations
Close to just about everything and the room was clean with a good view if the bay

we wanted to stay close to the penang cruise terminal and alos close to places of interest to us. we arrived tired and the receptionist was very efficient and recommended a local eating place not to far away, which turend out to be exactly what we were looking for. we are definatley going to stay here again when we are next in penang.
Restaurant Tip:
The 'Red Garden' is only a short walk if you want budget outdoor dining and atmosphere

I like Bayview hotel enviroment but unfortunately,their receptionist welcomes customers w/o smiles..Seems their face like hv dozens of works but cant smiles n welcomes customers.The location is strategic coz in centre of d town.easy access to anywhere.Surrounded by clubs..

I've booked 2 rooms however the other room air - condition is not functioning well. Maintenance guy came and try to fix it however when we were back the air - condition is still the same. Requested for second time but still the same.
Besides that, we called to the operator and requested for additional toilet amenities and bath towel unfortunately the operator lady was not being helpful and rude.
