Conveniently located in old Penang. In the heart of many walking trails, also close to the local market and shops. Near food places as well. The hotel is charmingly old and quaint, and for you if you like something that is not anything like a chain hotel. Great place to rest and relax in if that's what you want to do.
quaint, cosy;
extremely convenient location;
helpful staff
could be cleaner
- Restaurant Tip : Soho - just behind the hotel for pub food and beer;
Next to Soho (at night) - soup kumbing and soto ayam - very good;
Just further down from Soho - many eateries with local food

Nice historical Chinese hotel. We entered in a filmset, but though we could not move freely through the hotel during the shooting hours, we were very pleased with the attention the staff of the hotel gave us.
Not for people who like a busy, hotel with swimmingpool and eveningactivities. The scene is more like a hotel in the old time. Like in a movie.
- Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel itself is the best tip I can give. If you never have slept in a nice historical Chinese hotel, than this is the place to be.

Take some time to get to know the staff a bit more than you might normally as they so lovely & helpful & very informative about the hotel.
